Safety, trust & environment

You can rest easy knowing you pet will be treated like family in the comfort of their own home. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. Boarding clients can expect a tidy house and side yard potty access. 20-30 minute walk included per day. I can provide puzzle toys and frozen kongs on hot days with owner permission. Boarding requests are taken on a case by case basis, as I have two dogs of my own. They get along well with other dogs, but I would like to see how everyone interacts with each other before agreeing to anything. Boarded pets will also need proof of vaccination. As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard entrusting your pet, as well as your home, to someone unfamiliar. My goal is to always keep your place looking as untouched as possible, if not better than how you left it. I have pet caregiver insurance as well, for additional piece of mind. Both your home and pets are covered.

Information Meghan S. would like to know about your pet

Temperament, how they do with other dogs, energy level, likes/dislikes, how they do on a leash, typical routine, allergy information, medications, basically anything that I need to know! There’s no such thing as too much information.

A typical day

They will go on daily walks. They will have access to any toys that their family has approved. They will be fed on their usual schedule. My goal is always for them to have as little disruption in their routine as possible and minimize stress. You will receive updates and pictures of you pets while you are away for some peace of mind (I love taking pictures so you will most likely get a lot of them!)

Vet Assistant Turned Pet Sitter

Pet care experience

Starting June 19th, 2026, I will be able to provide full time pet care if that is needed for more anxious pets! ———— I have extensive knowledge of exotic animals too! A bit about me: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant at a local vet hospital. After working in the field for about 5 years, I wanted to try something else and transitioned to pet sitting. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them.

Meghan was wonderful! We booked her to keep an eye on our two dogs, and our elderly guinea pig while we were out of town. Meghan was incredibly helpful, responsive, and sent photos/updates throughout the time we were away which was nice. We did experience a very unfortunate and unique situation, in that our beloved 9 year old guinea pig, Lily, passed while we were away. Meghan went above and beyond, leaving her job early to sit with Lily in her final moments, trying to keep her as comfortable as possible, and giving her so much love and attention - it was comforting for us to know Lily wasn’t alone. Thank you, Meghan, for your kindness and support. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her in the future.

Meghan was exactly what we needed to have to be able to relax on our vacation. She is trustworthy, does exactly what you ask, and loved and cared for our animal babies just like we would when we were gone. She was super easy going and the boys loved her! I would recommend 💯

From the moment our dogs met Megan they loved her. Extremely friendly and trustworthy. One of our dogs required medication which Megan had no problem administrating. We will definitely use her again.
