The biggest dog (pet) lady!
I have taken care of multiple dogs since I was 9 years old. I had a dog growing up who I was responsible for until I went to college. During the first four years living in Colorado I lived with and cared for roommates' dogs with some dog sitting and walking for other families and friends. In 2022 I was luckily enough to adopt my very own pup, who has since passed on but our time together is deeply cherished! Additionally, I volunteer at an animal shelter walking dogs once a week. I'm experienced with dogs that are dog sensitive, shy dogs, administering medication and providing much love and attention to any furry friend I come across!

Safety, trust & environment
While caring for your pet, I will always ensure that all doors and gates are closed and locked properly before leaving your pet for the rest of the day. I will ensure they are always leashed when walking or transporting them to a dog park, etc. If your pet is shy I will take time to get to know them before proceeding with any more activities. Your pet's comfort and safety is my top priority.

Meghan has always done a great job with my dog, Scout. Scout doesn't get along with other animals, and Meghan respects that and I always felt comfortable that her need for space would be respected. She also made sure my dog had her medication on time. Scout loves Meghan, and has always been happy to give her snuggles and play fetch. I would highly recommend Meghan, who is a total pet-lover, as a dog sitter in Colorado.
Meghan has watched our home and two dogs a bunch over the last few years. Our two very energetic dogs, an old staffy and young german shepherd, have way more fun with her than us. They love it when she comes over to stay. Our older staffy was adopted from an abusive environment and is still skittish of most people, but Meghan makes her feel comfortable and safe. The younger german shepherd requires a lot of exercise, and she always makes sure he is well ran. Our home is always cleaner and dogs happier after a weekend with her. We trust Meghan with our home and pups, and you should too!
Meghan has grown up with dogs and watched my high-energy pup many times! She is attentive, caring, and responsible. She truly loves dogs and celebrates their individual quirks. I highly recommend Meghan for any dog walking/dog sitting needs you might have!

Schedule
I'm a part time researcher so I'm relatively busy the first half of the week but my work time and location is very flexible. For dog walking or check-ins, I would be available at any time between 8am/6pm.
