Dependable Dog Carer
I grew up taking care of a big, sweet lab and spending time with my extended family’s large dogs. Since then I’ve had the privilege of bonding with the dogs of friends and past partners. I’ve been professionally dog sitting full-time for 2+ years, and off and on for 5. I follow the lead of the dog owner with commands and whether to have the dog(s) on leash or not. I’ve had many experiences of simple neighborhood walks, longer hikes in the wild, dog parks, car rides, giving medication, taking the dog to the vet when needed, and lots of playtime and cuddling. :) I love getting to know the unique personality of each dog I care for, and I do my best to make sure they have quality time and care while their person is away.

I value clear, direct communication, and I appreciate having detailed directions on how you would like me to care for your pet(s) and home. I’m very self sufficient and capable of dealing with unforeseen circumstances if they arise. I keep my space tidy and clean and will leave your home in as good or better shape than I found it. Please provide a clean and welcoming space for my arrival. I am careful to lock all doors/secure your home, bring in your mail and packages, and water your plants.

Meghan is a AAA+ pet sitter and a joy to meet! She exudes confidence, reliability, and trust. My dog, Katie, took to Meghan instantly….which isn’t her ‘normal’. I think this says a lot about Meghan’s natural affinity for animals and their trust and interest in her. Meghan followed all the guidance to a ‘T’ and left me with a couple of house observations that I really appreciated. She left my home without evidence she was here, a testament to her clean and tidy profile. Will certainly ensure Meghan is aware of my future travels with hope she can return!
Winston (the dog) loves Meghan and looks for her when she leaves. Meghan kept the house neat and was great about communication. We look forward to having her again!
Meghan was a wonderful sitter -- warm, open, and communicative from the get-go when we first met via Zoom; upon her arrival at my home, so that I had peace of mind when I got to my vacation destination; periodically during the week (including sending pictures of my little Gracie); and upon her departure/day of my return. I came home to an animated and healthy kitty, a clean and welcoming home, and a newsy update letter from Meghan with various details from the week. I am grateful for the care and attention Meghan gave to both my cat and my home, and would highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a sitter!
Meagan sat for my cat Pickle for one month last December, and was very loving, communicative, organized, and clean. She made sure to send pictures once every few days - just enough to know he was well cared for. When I returned, it was clear he had a wonderful time with her and Meagan admitted she had fallen a little in love with the guy! I highly recommend Meagan for your petsitting needs, she is tops!
Meghan recently stayed with my two dogs and did an excellent job caring for them. One of my dogs is 17 years old and can be a challenge. Meghan tended to him and his idiosyncrasies with acceptance and kindness. I didn't worry at all about my pets with Meghan there for them!
