I am currently in a graduate program, so I have a fairly flexible availability. I have worked all hours at previous jobs, so I am more than able to check in very early in the mornings or very late in the evenings.

Due to the terms of my lease and some minor allergies, I am looking to provide dog walking and drop-ins rather than boarding or daycare.

A typical day
I like to teach dogs new tricks (nothing too fancy, but sitting up on their hindquarters, army crawling, or responding to voice commands, for example), as well as exploring the smells and parks in the neighborhood.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of other's pets since I was a young kid. I was often called upon by neighbors and family to look after their pups while they were away. My last dog passed of old age a few years ago, and I am really missing having a walk buddy. In addition to walks, I have done basic trick training with family pets.

My rescue dog, Pancake loves Meghan, and looks forward to their walks together. I find that sometimes Pancake wants to walk with Meghan more than he does me! Meghan was very flexible with Pancake and my needs and can almost always give him a walk when needed.
Meghan was great with my dog Jasmine (Jazz). Jasmine is a pretty anxious dog and takes quite a while to adjust to other people outside of me. I was really nervous trying a service like this because of that fact, but Jasmine took to Meghan immediately. Meghan was so patient with her and gave Jazz the space to get used to her. 10/10 recommend!
