I’m currently a stay-at-home mama, so my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate last-minute bookings for boarding, daycare, or drop-in visits as well as same-day walks. I am available to care for a guest dog/dogs according to their specific needs and schedule.

I have a large house as well as a big fenced-in backyard (7-8 foot fence) in a lovely pet-friendly neighborhood. Is a wonderful area for walks. If your dog is more comfortable being crated, I can accommodate that as well. I can feed dogs separately if there are issues with food guarding. I do have kids, so I just ask that they are friendly with children.

I have worked with dogs who are deaf, blind, hyper, and reactive. Let me know if your dog has any behaviors or special needs I need to account for. It is very important that your dog get along with children. Our place would not be the best situation for a dog who did not like kids.
A typical day
A typical morning would start with a walk and then breakfast if your dog is a breakfast eater. Then we would play around the house a bit snuggling or playing with toys. We would play in the backyard and go for walks every few hours. At night we would regroup by hanging out reading together, watching a show, playing a family game, or whatever after making dinner together.

I loved having them stay with us so that I could walk them, play with them, and relax with them. Whatever your pet needs, we will work together to ensure that they are safe and well-cared for. I am comfortable administering medication if/when needed and am experienced with a variety of breeds and temperaments—including elderly dogs as well as brand new puppies.🐶

Meghan was wonderful! She was able to take my pup on short notice, work around a crazy work schedule for me with long hours, and was kind, communicative, and responsive. My dog was so happy when I picked her up and she can’t wait to go back!
Nice home with fenced in yard. Meghan was very nice and the pups seemed to enjoy their time under her care.
Meghan is great, took Keira on very little notice… Keira was healthy and happy on pickup, as usual!
Meghan was awesome and her house is perfect for dogs! Great communication and an all around great experience. Our dog was very happy with Meghan!
