Animal lover & chihuahua dog mom
I have been a dog mom for 6 years but have always grown up in a household with dogs and other pets (hamsters, fish, frogs, bunnies) and have a huge soft spot for all of these beautiful creatures. So while I have only directly cared for my dog for 6 years, I’ve had experience taking care of our other pets growing up and have also spent time watching friend and family’s animals. My one dog who passed away a few years ago suffered from kidney disease and had to get fluids often. My current dog struggles with anxiety, is on a special diet and came from a hoarding situation so required special training. So, I am used to caring for animals with specific needs and am more than happy to take care of senior dogs or animals with disabilities. I also helped raise our other family dog since he was a puppy. I am also comfortable around other animals and am always happy to talk through the specific needs of your pet to make sure you and your baby are comfortable! Lastly, I worked at an animal shelter for some time and dealt with dogs from rough backgrounds and of all ages. So I am very passionate about taking care of animals!

I am the proud dog mom of a 12-year-old chihuahua named Roo. While I will not be offering overnight stays as Roo is a territorial dog, I have learned a lot from caring for her for over 6 years. Roo is on daily medication, a special diet, goes to the vet monthly for an allergy shot and is always in need of a sweater (the chihuahua in her!) So, I am used to taking care of a “needy” dog and would love to help you feel comfortable leaving your dog with me or having us go on walks. Roo is also not very friendly with other dogs so I know how to work with dogs like this on walks and have no issue with dogs that are antisocial.

We had such a great experience with Meghan! She was very pleasant and took the time to meet with us beforehand since it was our first time working together, which I really appreciated. She made sure Bronco felt comfortable before his walk. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and she took such great care of him. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive for their pet!
Meghan has been a great dog walker for my two chihuahuas. She understands the way their little reactive brains work which I really appreciate since they are not always the easiest to walk. One of my dogs also gets nervous when unknown people are in her space and by the second visit she was already excited to see Meghan. Meghan is also very responsive to texts and any requests I have.
There’s no limit to the amount of good things I could say about Meghan!! I’m so glad I can rely on her to take care of my dog when I’m not around. She’s so sweet, loving, and caring with him. I never have to worry because I know she takes care of him like he’s her own. I fully trust her in my home and know I can rely on her to follow the specific feeding/care instructions we set. Meghan is a doting dog mom and a wonderful person, 10/10 would recommend!!
I was nervous about letting someone else take my dogs out as they are still young and pretty strong. I have only had my family help before but Meghan was great! She sent me a photo of them and kept me updated on how it went! She was nice, easy to communicate with and answered all my probably annoying questions. She even took them for a walk to get their energy out! I will definitely be using her again. Also, my dogs loved her playful energy 😊
You can search and search but you would never find anyone better to care for your pet. Meghan has all the qualities you are looking for. Meghan has a natural way with animals, a true love for them. She is patient and gentle and will make sure your pet is safe and loved. Meghan has cared for my dog who has many health issues and she is responsible and diligent in making sure his needs are met. Meghan is simply the best.
Meghan is an incredible and wonderful dog mom who’s very attentive and loving. She’s also an overall animal lover! I would highly recommend working with her.

Harmonogram
I’m currently working remote, so I have a flexible schedule during the week to drop in for visits or take your pet for a walk. I’m also a homebody so typically at home with my dog, Roo, on the weekends or nearby the LIC area!
