Kiss those stinky kennels and thunder jackets goodbye, I'm a dog lover and I promise to love your pup the same way I do mine! I work from home so I'm able to give plenty of attention to your dog, and I'm conveniently located just off 75 and Mockingbird in the M Streets. I offer overnight boarding in my home, as well as drop in visits and am available for walks. I have one perfect rescue named Hazel. She's 7 years old and makes friends with everyone. As the leader of the pack, she takes her job as hostess very seriously and loves having company. We like playing at the dog park, we've got lots of toys, lots of dog beds, a yard with a secure fence, and I keep the backdoor open all day so the pups can go out and lay in the sunshine or bark at squirrels, then come back inside to play or snuggle up for a nap. I do allow dogs on the furniture and in my bed, and everyone gets a walk every day (unless you tell me otherwise). Call me old fashioned, but I like to form long-term relationships with my guests. I find it's a better experience for all of us. It reduces anxiety for your pup, gives them a sense of routine and familiarity, and helps us create a relationship where I'm able to anticipate their needs and activity levels, and then accept overlapping bookings accordingly. Most of my guests have met many times, which has helped create a strong family culture, as well as a safe and cohesive pack. **Update Fall '25** For the last year, my client list has been at capacity and I have been unable to accommodate any new guests, however I now have 2 spots open for new clients!
