I’m a passionate animal lover and a pre-vet college student with extensive hands-on experience in pet care. I worked as a kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital, where I gained practical experience in animal care, including feeding, administering medications, and ensuring the safety and comfort of pets. My role involved working with a variety of dogs and cats, from puppies and kittens to older animals with special needs. I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 8 years and currently have two dogs as of 2021. Taking care of my own pets has deepened my understanding of the responsibilities that come with pet ownership, including training, exercise, grooming, and providing companionship. Since I was 11, I’ve been caring for my own pup, which has taught me invaluable lessons in patience, attention, and compassion. In addition to my professional and personal pet care experience, I’ve enjoyed sitting for neighbors' and friends' cats and dogs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or administering medications, I’m happy to provide pets with the attention they deserve. As a pre-vet student, I’m dedicated to furthering my knowledge and skills in animal care and am excited to offer the best possible service to your pets while you’re away. I’m confident that my background, love for animals, and education will ensure your pets are safe, happy, and well-cared for!

I offer a range of pet care services, including house sitting, dog walking, pet sitting, and feeding. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or walking them, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I tailor my care to each pet's unique personality and needs. For example, some pets enjoy plenty of cuddles and attention, while others may prefer more space, especially if they’re shy or anxious. I always adjust based on the pet’s individual temperament. When it comes to walks, I follow the owner's instructions to ensure that each dog gets the right exercise at the right pace. I make sure that pets receive plenty of love and attention, but I’m also sensitive to their emotional needs, offering them a peaceful, calming environment when needed. I’m comfortable managing special dietary requirements and administering medications as needed. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure everything is handled exactly as requested. If a pet has a medical condition or special need that I’m not familiar with, I’m more than happy to research and learn about it to ensure I can provide the best possible care. While I do need to leave the house occasionally as a college student, I ensure pets are comfortable and safe during those times. In case of emergencies, I immediately contact the owners and, if necessary, refer any medical issues to the pet's veterinarian. My goal is to ensure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and cared for in a way that suits their unique needs, so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands while you're away!

Meghan has been walking my dog for a couple months and just house sat for a few days! My dog loves her and I feel completely comfortable with her! She did a wonderful job sitting as well! Would definitely recommend Meghan!
Meghan was awesome! This was our first time hiring a house sitter for our five pets and she did better than we could have hoped! She gave us updates on each pet and how they were doing, and took great care of our home. Will absolutely be recommending her or requesting her help again!
Our dogs LOVE when Meghan comes to watch them. They get a little nervous when we leave even to go to run an errand, so it is great to know Meghan is taking care of them. Highly recommend Meghan!!!!!
Meghan is very sweet and my dog loved her. You can tell how much she loves animals! I only wish I’d received more updates and photos and that my place was cleaner when she left. Other than that, she’s responsible and my dog looked well-cared for when I returned home.
Meghan did a great job. Our pups have high anxiety and she must have put them at ease, they had no signs of stress when we got back home.
Meghan was very accommodating and responsible in her care of Charlie while we were gone all day for a wedding. She was able to spend the day with him and traveled a farther (further?) distance to help us out. Thank you!

Schedule
I’m available throughout the week though I do have classes Monday through Thursday. I'm very flexible outside of that though. Feel free to reach out with any scheduling needs!
