As a dog lover for as long as I can remember, I truly enjoy expanding my caregiving services to others. My household has raised many types of breeds, from German shepherds to golden retrievers to miniature schnauzers. For the last 10 years, I’ve cared for my close friends’ and neighbors’ dogs for their vacations and trips, and would like to offer my services to those who are looking for peace of mind while away! I live very close to a state park for long walks, a fenced in pool area, and spacious backyard. Since my yard is not fenced in, I allow the dogs to roam freely within the pool area or take multiple walks per day in my neighborhood. I also understand what it’s like to worry about my pups while traveling, and would love to be the sense of relief for your four-legged family members!

Megan is a conscientious and caring sitter. She gave wonderful care to our dog who needed lots of exercise and attention. Our German Shepherd was happy and healthy. We have scheduled Megan for boarding again in a few weeks.
First thing- Meghan was great! Finn states with her fior 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter. She communicated well with us during his stay and is overall a very kind, responsible sitter. I will (and I’m sure Finn) be looking forward to booking with her in the future!

Schedule
I currently work part-time and my daily schedule tends to vary; however, your pet is my priority before and after my scheduled shift. I understand the importance of consistency in a dog’s routine and will try to stick to it as closely as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
A lot of love. Additionally, as someone who loves the outdoors, I am happy to host or take care of pets who need a lot of exercise. In terms of safety, I never let them off leash unless the area is fenced in.
A typical day
Dogs that stay with me will enjoy long walks in the state park near my house where swimming in the lake is an option as well. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I allow the dogs to roam in my fenced in pool area. I do not have a ton of experience with dog parks, so I usually avoid them.
