Dog Lover & Shelter Volunteer
I’ve owned dogs since 2008, but my last buddy crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025. To fill the dog shaped void I volunteer at an animal shelter, work part-time at a doggy daycare, and started dog boarding. I love caring for dogs and treating them like family. I have fully fenced front and back yards and no stairs for the golden girls (or boys!).

Meghan is fantastic. Her calm presence and willingness to allow our anxious dogs to warm up to her and her space at their own pace made for an excellent match and they both fully relax and feel at home in her welcoming dog friendly home. We will definitely be using Meghan again, in fact we have already rebooked with her and highly recommend Meghan.

In addition to having various four legged creatures through her life, she has volunteered with several shelters and currently works at a doggy daycare, where she cares for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Her experience, patience, and love for animals make her someone pet owners can trust to provide excellent care and plenty of affection.
I highly recommend Meghan as a pet sitter. She has watched my dogs several times and every experience has been fantastic. She is reliable, caring, and attentive. I always feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs in her care.

Schedule
My hybrid work schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week, with no set limitations on availability. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, and companionship.

Safety, trust & environment
I have no other animals and a fenced yard so your dog will be the king/queen of the yard. I have a xl crate if necessary to create a quiet safe place. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your routines, provide close supervision, secure leash handling, and plenty of exercise, attention, and affection.
A typical day
I love to play in the yard- fetch, catch and chase. We’ll take walks in the neighborhood so your buddy can read all the p-mail. There’s sidewalks and it’s a safe area. Couch hippos always welcome!
