I am currently a full time graduate student, and will be gone from 8am - 3pm every weekday. While they’re in my care, your little loved one will always be my top priority. I look forward to providing as many leisurely strolls, playtimes in the park, and potty breaks as your dogs need. If it’s cuddles and belly rubs they’re after, I’d love to be there for that too :)

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment complex with a fenced-in play area and an ideal location close to the Piedmont Park. I don’t have any pets of my own, so I can provide a safe environment for all of your dogs. I can crate them safely, provide light grooming (brushing, bathing, etc.), take them on multiple walks each day, and take them out for potty breaks as often as necessary!

Information Meghan K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has aversions to anything (people, children, other dogs/animals), special needs, necessary medications and how best to administer them, or any other preferences I should know about to provide the best care.
A typical day
I already enjoy going on long walks along the beltline or in the park near my apartment, so I would absolutely love some doggy company. Playing fetch, tug-of-war, or other activities your dogs love are all possible with the fenced-in grassy play area in my apartment complex. I can also go on 1-2 mile jogs with highly-energetic dogs if they’re properly trained or have gone on runs with people before!

Pet care experience
I helped take care of my family dog, a medium-sized hound/beagle mix, from a young age. We grew up alongside each other, and I loved every stage of his life - especially watching how comfortable he became around our whole family throughout the years. Providing a rescue with a happy and loving home was an amazing, character building experience; it has influenced my care of my friend’s and neighbor’s pups ever since. Around the age of 12, I began to pet-sit for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. One of my greatest joys with each of those dogs was figuring out how they express themselves and how I could follow suit to provide exactly what they needed. Once I moved away for college, I missed our family dog greatly, so I began to volunteer at the local county animal shelter. While it took much longer for some of those pups to warm up to me, it was a task I never gave up on. I have always loved providing a safe and comfortable place for dogs - even if it is only for a short period of time. I look forward to meeting your loved ones and getting to play, walk, and hang out with them!
Reviews

Meghan is amazing, as always! She clearly loves my dog so much and my dog loves her right back! She sent me updates and photos while I was away and handled my dog’s medical needs and leash reactivity like a pro. :)

Meghan is just the best!

Meghan was great with Louie she sent lots of pics and he seemed to have enjoyed his time with her!
