fenced in yard & lots of love!
My husband and I live in a single family house in Sierra Meadows with our small, mellow, and very friendly and playful dog Ziggy! We have a large fenced in grassy yard and lots of energy to keep your pup entertained :) we have watched all sorts of dogs - really anxious and shy rescue dogs, hyper 70lb puppies, nervous 15 lb mutts… we love em all! We do have a dog of our own, so can’t take aggressive dogs. We typically take our dog Ziggy for at least two exercises a day - a morning and end of day hike/jog - in addition to a lunch time walk and potty break. I work from home full time and my husband works in an office just down the street, so we have lots of flexibility to make sure your dog gets exercise and breaks and attention throughout the day! Ziggy is incredibly friendly and mellow and gets along great with truly any dog - shy dogs she’ll let be, hyperactive and playful dogs she’ll play with for a bit - and then ignore while she spends her afternoon napping on the couch :) I hope we get to meet your pup soon!

Mikoh had a great time with Ziggy & Meghan! Meghan was so communicative with us prior to meeting, and did a great job keeping us updated throughout the stay. I appreciated that Meghan also gave him exercise with nice trails & walks during the stay. I would look no further for a caring, responsible & communicative Rover in the Tahoe & Truckee area!
Meghan was great with our dog. She was able to take our dog last minute. The updates on our dog and the pictures were fabulous. Our dog seemed to have a lovely time with her and her dog. Would definitely book again if we were back in the area. Very responsive and had great communication with us!
We couldn’t recommend Megan and her family more to watch your dog! They are a very active and we got an update every day of the new adventure the pups went on from lake swimming, river walks, and forest hikes. All on top of having a great yard for the dogs to explore and play. Easy to communicate with and lots of photos which we love ☺️
Would highly recommend Meghan to anyone who is looking for a sitter for their pup. She was wonderful with our sweet Portuguese water dog, who does have some separation anxiety. Meghan was very loving and gentle with her - took for her for a nice stroll, comforted and played with her when we were gone for the evening. Ziggy (Meghan’s dog) who lives in the house was very friendly and not overbearing with our pup so worked out great! Five paws! 🐾 thank you Meghan 💫🥰🐾
Meghan and Daniel took such good care of Aly for the day! She romped around in their awesome fenced in yard and Meghan took Aly for a swim in the river. Best day ever!
Meghan is an excellent, caring dog sitter. Jojo had a blast during her play date. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home full time so - we already do a morning + afternoon 45-60 min exercise each day! I have a very flexible work schedule so can almost always accommodate a preferred schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and am happy to let your dog roam inside & outside, keep them inside (they’re allowed on furniture, if you want them to be!), or keep them crated also if that’s preferred.
Pets
A typical day
Ziggy and I love to hike over on Sawtooth or nearby, jog on the trails, and go to the river to swim! I can base our activities on what your dog is most suited for. I’m always happy to do a mellow leashed neighborhood walk too.
