Dog lover who loves to go on walks
I have owned and trained dogs all of my life including my current dog. He is a 4 year old Australian shepherded who knows more than 30 tricks and gets upwards of 3-9 miles of walking or hiking daily. I am comfortable training and working all dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently full time at home with boundless amounts of energy to go on walks, as well as having a large collection of dog toys and treats. I have completely open availability, I generally start my days around 6am. I have my own transportation and revolve my day around my own dog’s needs including an abundance of hiking and mental stimulation. I live in a townhome with roommates who work all day long with my very dog friendly calm Australian shepherd. I have a small patio, but will do the majority or exercise out on walks around the neighborhood or hikes (if it’s comfortable with you). I have the master bedroom that is quiet spacious and can fit crates if requested by the owner.

Meghan was superb, from the beginning when she waked in the door of my house to meet Odie(90lb lab mix) to the time she departed making shire he was adequately fed and watered are the basics of course but she played, stayed and went above and beyond when any instruction I left. She took him on long walks multiple times during days and evenings, embraced him as her own and sent pictures and messages depicting all the great times they had together in my absence she will. E asked back without a doubt and I highly recommend Meghan to watch, walk, sit and entertain any pet that might be in need of those services she takes so seriously, her heart is clearly in it all the way! I have been hiking with Meghan and her dog Byron many times, and she and him have the most loving and trusting relationship. By observing the way they interact and how much he obeys and trusts her, I believe she is a great dog sitter.
Meg truly cares for any dog she meets. Watching her with her own dog and others she has met, she treats them with respect and love, she creates trust with them. She trains dogs with compassion and positive reinforcement. She utilizes various techniques to make sure your dogs needs are met, mentally and physically. I would 100% recommend her
My dogs “love” it when Meghan watches them! She plays with them, teaches them tricks. I call her the dog whisperer, she understands their behaviors and offers great training suggestions when l have behavioral issues. I have two frenchies and they are so stubborn! But Meghan is able to get them to listen to her. She’s honest, and very hard working!

I base my interactions with animals on respect, consent, and love. I move at their pace listening to their body language. I have a very safe and quiet home environment and an untended yard. My community backs up to countless hiking trails and I have access to miles of sidewalks away from busy roads and chaotic environments.

A typical day
I love mentally stimulating dogs with training games then encouraging them to use their body on long walks/hikes. I am on a schedule when I care for animals and I offer them hours of info I def attention.
