Besides caring for my own pets (2 dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon), I'm also an experienced boarding kennel manager and formerly a professional dog trainer. I trained for a prominent dog training company here in Boise, where I was also in charge of the health and happiness of the dogs that stayed with us there as the kennel manager. I was also the general manager of a busy pet boarding kennel where we cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, as well as cats, and even pigs and rabbits. Through Rover, I have since gained experience with even more animals - including pet birds, chickens, and horses. I am PetTech certified in dog/cat CPR and first aid, and previously trained as a veterinary assistant. I have experience caring for dogs with different disabilities and medical needs such as diabetes, blindness/deafness, arthritis, and even ones that can't go to the bathroom on their own. I've cared for and trained anxious and nervous dogs, reactive dogs, seniors, puppies, and everything in between! Rest assured - this is not a side-gig for me; this is my profession and I treat it as such. I take every booking seriously and treat every pet I look after as if they were my own.
