I am available all day to check in on your pets as frequently as you would like. I just finished a grad school program and am currently looking at applying to others so I wanted the time in between to be filled with work that I really enjoy.

I have a great respect for people’s home and personal items. I understand it can be difficult to let a stranger into your home to care for your animal who often means the world to you however I will work hard to make you and your furry friend comfortable!
Information Meghan E. would like to know about your pet
I have no preference on knowing a pet before I go in. I feel like I can create a good bond with a pet in a short period of time, and am often as excited as they are to meet a new person. I also can read a pets body language well and know when to approach or when to stay back.
A typical day
If your pet likes to adventure then we are one in the same. I love adventuring and finding new places to hike and walk. I'll be willing to find these places, make sure that they are safe and then explore them even more with your pet. I love playing games, depending on the age of the pet, fetch is always a way to have fun, and if you have an older pet and game they like to play I will learn to entertain to the best of my ability. I can also be flexible for pets that aren’t as active outside but would rather have a low key day in the house. I’ll find ways to entertain and keep your pet happy while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs.

Meghan is truly a wonderful caregiver to animals. She took exceptional care of our senior dog and spicy mini dachshund in our home while we were away. She provided great updates and pictures and was also a fantastic house guest. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Meghan was caring for our pups! Highly recommend!

Meghan is great with our Australian Shepherd! She provided us updates while we were away and made sure he got his exercise and energy out, which is important to us with such a high energy dog. Would recommend Meghan for dog walking/sitting!
