Works from home- large fenced yard!

Hi Everyone, I work from home full time and am happy to share my flexible schedule to help care for your pups! I have one male chocolate lab that is very friendly and gets along well with others. We have a large fenced backyard, a wonderful neighborhood for walks, close to two parks, and live a short drive from the airport for convenient drop-off and pick-up when traveling. We make sure to follow your dog's normal daily schedule with feeding and exercise and love sending pictures and updates throughout the stay!  Please reach out if you have any questions as I am happy to accommodate special needs/ requests. I look forward to meeting you and having your pet be part of our family while you are away! Have a great day, -Meghan

Our dog was well taken care of while we were gone and seemed to have enjoyed his stay. Will definitely use her again! Thank you!

Meghan and her family cared for my 4-legged friend, took lots of pictures, and communicated well throughout his stay and I am grateful for their time and help. The reason for my rating includes an incident that happened: My dog, Grayson, LOVES food of the human variety, so in my short set of directions and notes I added: "**If you leave, please ensure he is unable to reach any human food on the stove or counter or anywhere, or he will greatly enjoy it 😆". Meghan messaged me promptly on the third day of his stay sharing that she had left a glass bowl of beef on the back of the counter and thought it was far enough back, but Grayson had knocked it off. The bowl shattered and Grayson ate the beef and possibly had eaten some glass as well. Meghan communicated that he was acting normal, drinking water, and went to the bathroom shortly thereafter. She shared that she would keep a close eye on him and if anything seemed off she would contact a vet right away and asked if I wanted her to take any extra precautions. I appreciated the communication greatly; however, whenever there is an issue, the first thing I want to know is the steps taken to remedy the issue. So, while Meghan may have done this, it would have been so appreciated if she communicated the steps that she took toward a solution. Something like: "I googled what to do in the event that he did ingest some glass, this is what I found, and this is what I did. I also called the emergency vet to check and see what can be done, and this is what they said. How would you like me to proceed?" After I got the message, I googled what needed to be done, called the Emergency Vet to see what they recommended, and called Rover to start a ticket in the event that he might need to be taken to the vet. It was scary for me and I am sure for Meghan too. I think Meghan had already googled what to do or knew, because she had fed him some bread and went above and beyond to get cotton balls and pumpkin to feed him as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Meghan! She was also incredibly helpful in being able to go to the emergency vet if that is what I thought was needed, and that was super appreciated. We are human and make mistakes, and I appreciate Meghan communicating quickly. Going forward, I will communicate that zero food can be left unattended when Grayson is around and will make mention of glass/porcelain wares. I will also communicate that if something happens, I am okay if the individual wants to reach out to the emergency vet to see how to proceed. This situation ended well, and it seems that Grayson picked through the glass. So, phew! 😌 Thank you, Meghan, for your time and help. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I hope you understand the reason I left a 4/5 as opposed to 5/5. Thanks again, and have a fun Memorial Day Weekend! 😊
