Your Best Friends New Best Friend
Hi! My name is Meghan and I’ve been a rover sitter the last 8 years and before that I would pet and house sit for neighbors. I’ve had dogs my entire life but do not currently have the means for one. So I started Rover to help others with their pups! I’ve house sitted many times, on rover and before it existed. I try to take care of both your dog and the house. My motto is I like to leave the house cleaner than I found it. Anything I use, I clean and put back where I’ve found it, I also usually do laundry for the sheets and other things I use. For your dog, I’ll walk, run, take to the dog park, hike, train tricks and whatever else interests you.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I typically spend the night at your place so your pup gets to stay in their homes! I take them on a walk first thing in the morning, then we will eat breakfast, play and hang out until I head to class or clinic. When I am hanging out at home with them, I'll be completing homework (wifi is helpful!), watching TV, reading, or playing with your pup! At the end of the day we will then take another walk, eat again (if your dog eats twice a day), and head to bed. I really enjoy hiking and would love to take your pup on some of the amazing hikes in and around Boulder!
Ratings and reviews
Meghan is amazing! She takes such great care of my dog while I’m away so I can rest easy and enjoy my vacation. She is also incredibly respectful of my house and when I get home it is cleaner than when I left- an added bonus to how amazing she is with my dog! Highly recommend!

Met with Meghan twice before she took care of our 18 year old dog, Mogi. Once was a meet and greet and the following visit was to review care schedule. Everything went great. Mogi was well cared for and house was in tip-top shape. Meghan is super friendly and easy to get to know. Will definitely have her sit again.

Meghan was great with Mimo and took wonderful care of him again. We had a few unexpected issues come up at home and with Mimo’s health, and she was incredibly helpful on managing while we were away.

Meghan has been great with our pup and communicative with us during every sit! Highly recommend!!

Meghan took great care of our golden retriever, Mimo, while we were out of town. She provided constant updates and it was clear he was happy and well taken care of. On top of that, she took great care of our space. We’ll definitely be using Meghan to watch Mimo in the future!

Meghan took great care of my pup and sent frequent updates when I was out of town for the weekend. Highly recommend!

Schedule
When I’m not doing Rover, I’m in grad school working towards a speech-language pathology degree! Every semester looks a little different but this semester, I have 8 hour days of classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Monday, Wednesday & Fridays I have classes/clinic for about 4 hours each day. Then Saturday's & Sunday's I have completely free :)

- I have no breed preferences. I usually ask families to leave a list (or create a google document) including the following things. - The times they are fed and how much they're fed at those times - Their feeding routine (sit, wait, release word) - Commands that might be helpful for me - How many walks/day and the length of the walks (typically I don't go over an hour unless its a hike) - Their preferences about other dogs, children, bikes, skateboards, ext. - If they have a sensitive stomach or are allergic to anything - Certain things that cause them high anxiety (therefore I should stay away from) - If their items aren't left out, where I can find them (poop bags, treats, food, toys, leash, etc) - Local vet information - Any other important information you'd like me to know.
