I work full time as a wildlife biologist, but I mostly work from home and I have a flexible schedule which allows me to come walk or check in on your dog or cat when it is most convenient for you. Occasionally I have field surveys when I will be unavailable during the day, but this is only about two days a month.

I have a fenced yard in my home. For check ins and walks I will follows all instructions given by each client to keep your animal the most calm and comfortable.

Let me know if your dog has any special behaviors I should know about, how they are on leash and with other dogs and people. My preference is for neighborhood leashed walks with well behaved dogs, and check in visits with senior or mellow dogs that want attention and need a bathroom break during the day.
A typical day
I will go on local walks with your dog and play fetch or other preferred games in your yard or local off leash area they are comfortable with. Or if preferred, I’ll just give them treats and love!

Pet care experience
I love animals, and will treat your dog or cat as my own. I sadly lost my sweet 12 year old dog earlier this year to cancer so I am looking to give love, attention, and exercise to other dogs. I grew up with a dog and a cat, and have taken care of friends and families pets frequently over the last 25 years. I know how valuable it is to have someone you can trust to take care of and love your animals so you can be at ease while you are at work or on vacation, and I hope to be the person that you can rely on!
