Home full time - WE LOVE DOGS!!
Hello there! My name is Meghan & I live with my awesome husband and 4 sons in Kernersville, NC. There are two reasons that our family got into “pet sitting”… 1- my children truly love animals and “have a way with them”, but we aren’t able to own our own dog just yet. Being a sitter allows them the wonderful experience of loving an animal while also learning to be helpful & responsible when it comes to an animal’s daily needs. 2- as a stay at home mom, I love being able to contribute a bit financially to help us get by each month. Services: I will take care of sick animals / administer their medications. We have an awesome yard, complete with energetic playmates for your pup! (aka fun-loving little boys) We go on walks with the pets we care for (up to twice a day), as well as “run them” in the backyard for their mental & physical health. There will be lots of love for your fur baby if they come to stay with us!! Breeds we’ve cared for include: Golden Doodle, Puggle, Labrador, Great Dane, Alaskan Malamute, Shia Tzu, Poodle, Golden Retriever, Chinese Pug, French Bulldog, Australian Shepherd & many wonderful mixed breeds. We felt immediately comfortable when we met Meghan and her sweet family! It was obvious that Auggie felt comfortable and had a great time during his stay. She was a great communicator and was accommodating with drop off and pick up. Will definitely be using her again :)
Meghan was great with my senior pup! She is very communicative and caring!
She took such good care of our girl! We got regular check-ins, communication was stellar, and Milly LOVED playing with her respectful, mature boys. We would recommend Meghan in a heartbeat and we will absolutely be booking with her in the future.

I could not say enough great things about Meghan and her wonderful family. It was a lot to ask her to watch a new puppy who was slowly learning commands and almost housebroken, but she took it with stride. I received pictures and updates, and to be honest, I almost feel like my pup had their own mini vacation while I was at work. I know my pup was in safe hands and was being loved. I could not recommend highly enough.

Schedule
I’m home full time raising our sons and homeschooling them! We have 2 or 3 weekly evening commitments, but in general those commitments only require one of us (mom and dad) to be present. This means there is very little time when the pups in our care have to truly be alone. We’re home a lot!

Safety, trust & environment
We spend lots of time outdoors when the weather is nice, so your pup would be right there with us when appropriate. Our family is home a lot, so we can provide a lot of attention to the dogs we watch :)
A typical day
We love Fourth of July Park and Triad Park...we visit the park as often as possible, so your pup would be in for a treat! We play outside as much as possible while at home ❤️ We also don’t have a bunch of fancy or breakable things (4 boys and all!), so your pet will be able to curl up with us on the sofa or cuddle with us by the fireplace!
