Meghan can care for
Availability
Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I work full time, but I have availability in the afternoons after work and am fully available on weekends to stay with and care for pets. I’m committed to making sure each dog gets consistent attention, exercise, and companionship during those times. I’m reliable and able to plan my schedule in advance to ensure I can meet each pet’s needs while their owners are away.

Information Meghan A. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, personality, and any medical conditions or medications. It's also helpful to know how they interact with other people, pets, and new environments, as well as any training cues, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of. The more information I have ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience for your pet. My goal is to make sure they feel as happy and secure as possible while you're away and to keep their routine as consistent as I can.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment tailored to each pet's needs and personality. We’ll start with potty breaks, feeding, and some one-on-one time before enjoying walks, playtime, or outdoor activities. I love keeping dogs active with games like fetch, tug-of-war, and enrichment activities that engage their minds as well as their bodies. Throughout the day, pets will receive lots of affection, supervision, and companionship. I make sure they have time to relax and feel comfortable, especially if they’re adjusting to being away from their owners. In the evenings, we’ll enjoy another walk or play session, followed by dinner and plenty of cuddles before bedtime. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and have fun while maintaining the routine they're used to at home.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs, including regularly dog-sitting for a dog with epilepsy and administering care according to their specific health requirements. I am certified in dog training and have experience working with a comfort dog through my university, which has helped me develop strong skills in reading canine behavior, building trust, and providing calm, consistent care. In addition, I have completed multiple courses focused on compassionate care, allowing me to provide attentive, patient, and individualized support for every dog I care for. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, a puppy, a senior, or has special medical needs, I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away.
Reviews

Meghan is great! Very friendly and clearly loves dogs. She arrived on time and followed the schedule / notes for the drop in. She sent photos as well so we could see how our dog was doing! Left the house clean too. We will definitely reach out to Meghan next time we need someone to help with our Golden Retriever.
