I have been a professional caregiver since 2023 and am very proud of my 200+ clients dogsitting, boarding, dog walking, dropins and daycare. My reviews from my amazing clients say it better than I could. I have been distinguished as a Star Sitter with Rover for two years. I have almost always lived with dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, and such, but currently have an “empty nest”. My mom taught me a lot about responsibility and nurturing with our pets growing up. I am well versed in all dispositions, sizes and ages. As an adult, I have always adopted senior dogs that were having trouble finding homes. I have also fostered and volunteered for a pet sanctuary. I will often be seen crossing the street to meet a dog whether it was toward my destination or not. People often remark that I have a soothing way with animals and are surprised when they “take” to me quickly. I am honored when clients call me the “animal whisperer”. If you are looking for boarding, I live in a condo in Mount Pleasant, SC. It does have an elevator for dogs that shouldn’t do stairs. We do not have a fenced in backyard but there is a dog run that right next to my building and rarely used. We also have a lot of walking options for exercise. I like to avoid multiple households at one time to pamper your pets.

Megan stayed overnight with my three girls and I can’t have imagined being more comfortable leaving them with anyone else, especially with the fireworks and thunderstorm. Megan asked lots and lots of questions about Winston that clearly indicated she knew what she was doing and what to ask. I was immediately impressed. Throughout Winston's stay, she sent great photos of him. I can tell when he is happy because he actually smiles and he smiled in every photo! She takes very professional photos! Safety, trust & environment
I want your animals to feel safe and secure. We are a household where dogs are allowed on the furniture but I will default to your preferences. I find sticking to what they normally do at home with their family largely is what makes them feel most at ease.
A typical day
First of all, I will get to know your normal routine to ensure the pets are not too disrupted without their favorite human. I also like to understand your daily goals and objectives. One family had an agility course in their basement I would run the dog through many times a day. Not everyone has that kind of space but I enjoy molding my days to replicate what is important to you. I am a big fan of toys and games that work on sharpening their cognitive skills. I love going for walks and depending on their reaction to cars, I’m happy to drive them to their favorite spots. If the dog is reactive or shy around other dogs, I know a few spots where we still can be on our own.
