I currently work part-time, and am off on weekends. My schedule is spaced out so I can take care of pups throughout the day in my work gaps. On weekends, I can be home the entire time to give them my full attention.

I have a fenced in yard, and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. My dogs love to play and share their toys with others—especially the boxer mix. They have a ton of Kongs, balls, tough chew toys, and a rope to tug on. My house is pretty much dog proof. It’s kept clean, and nothing gets left out to get into.

A typical day
In addition to playing with my dogs, and all the fun dog toys we have for inside the house and out in the backyard, I will also stick to their normal routines that you have for them to burn off energy. I can get them out of the house for walks, take them to the park, etc.

Pet care experience
My family grew up having all sorts of pets. We had our first dog enter the family when I was 5 years old, and we’ve added to the family since. I rescued a dog of my own when I was in college, and it was the best decision of my life. My boyfriend and I now have two, and they mean the absolute world to us. Having your own pets gives you such a different perspective on life, and I look forward to waking up every single day to our boys.

It is always a pleasure when Jax stays with Megan! He now recognizes her dogs names when I tell him he is going to visit them and can't wait to get to the door when we arrive.
Jax just had a six day stay with Megan and was reunited with his "brothers", Nydo and Monty. Jax now knows when he sees me put his bed and knapsack in the truck that he:s going to Megan's and when we arrive and Megan greets us he goes straight out to the back yard to play with his pals and doesn't give me leaving him a second thought. This was the longest stay with a sitter since we adopted him last year and we couldn't be happier with the love he receives from Megan. He has become so comfortable in her home that he now had his bed next to Megan's dog Nydo and is one of her furry "boys" that hang out together.
