I have been caring for animals ever since I can remember. I have been an active sitter on Rover for 5 years. I absolutely love love all the dogs I get to care for. I currently do not have any of my own, which means all the more love for your babies. I have experience caring for pups with sensitivities and special needs. From skin issues, injections, medication, or special diets. The last foster pup I had came to me with horrible skin allergies and was aggressive. After having her for about a week I started making her food, changed her life. In the time she was with me she went from an itchy misunderstood little girl, to a happy healthy pup that loved new playmates. Your pups safety is first priority. I do have cameras to check in (or talk to) the pups if I happen to not be at home. I feed all animals separately behind gates to avoid any food aggression with their new friends. I allow all dogs on the furniture and to sleep in the bed as long as they are clean and well groomed. If being on furniture is not allowed at your home please let me know and I will be happy to enforce that on their visit. I love spending time with animals from walking, visiting the park, Or lounging around. Your best friends will be my best friends during their stay with and I strive to make them as comfortable and safe as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! I DO observe Spring Break as a holiday period (dates change from year to year but are generally the middle two weeks of March). I understand your pup staying in their own home while you are away might bring the best piece of bind. I do house sitting, rates are listed (any additional fees will be discussed if needed.) Please feel free to reach out if it says I am out of radius. Rover does allow us to put a mileage or minute distance that we are willing to travel, but does not let us map out the specific areas we do not travel to. I accommodate dogs that cannot be boarded with other dogs (for an additional fee that will be discussed). I will need advance notice to properly update my calendar. My goal is to love and treat your pups just as you would! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

You can tell our dog loved the time and care he had with Megan! As it was our first time boarding with a sitter she was prepared with a lot of additional items we didn’t know were useful! Thankful she was able to take him last minute!
Megan was amazing! This was our first time using Rover, so we were cautious in the beginning to make sure we were handing off our pup to the right person. Megan's reviews speak for themselves, but she was so kind to come over to our house before hand-off to meet our boy, Koda, and get to know him a little bit before she brought him to her home and around the other dogs she was caring for. Koda warmed up to her very quickly. She asked all the questions necessary to look after Koda just as we do on any regular day. We were gone over the Thanksgiving holiday for about 4 days and Megan kept us updated on a daily basis with how Koda was behaving, what they were doing (walks, dog park, etc.), and even shared pictures! Thank you, Megan, for caring for our pup just as we do. My wife and I can tell that you're truly a dog mom and we will certainly be reaching out to have Koda stay again - he loved it!
Megan did a great job with Milly. She came over before her stay to get acquainted which helped us all feel more comfortable. She communicated well and sent photos and messages during her stay. She did a great job with Milly who is more of a cuddler than a walker. I’d highly recommend Megan and plan to use her services again

Schedule
I am a full time grad student, besides studying I am visiting pups. Mornings are a long walk or trot to the dog park in my complex, that is typically repeated in the evening/night, outside breaks as needed through out the day. The dog park I have access to is a private complex park. Just a hop, skip, and jump away. If your dog does to do well in a park situation we will only go to the park when no other dogs are there. There are very rarely others there at the same time though. All day I get to hang out with your animals loving them and treating them as they were my own.

I am home 95% of the time. My home is equipped with cameras to check in if I am not home. Whether we are at my house or I am sitting at your house. Your babies will get all the love and attention they need.
A typical day
Lots of playing, walking, going to the dog park if they can, sun bathing on the deck, working on training that needs some help, and keeping your pups active and engaged. The best part is lots of snuggles and being showered in affection!
