Pet care experience
Prof animal keeper ready to pet sit
I used to be an exotic animal keeper that took care of over 100 exotic animals on a daily basis! Now I'm a stay at home dog mom to two sweet dogs. With previous dog walking and pet sitting experience, I joined Rover to spend more time with animals and to have some fun making a little extra income. Whether it be staying at their houses, going over to feed and take care of the animals, or having them stay at my house, I've also been taking care of family and friends' dogs and cats most of my life. I have had both a cat and dog for my entire childhood and now I have a cat and two rescued shelter dogs :) I have also taken classes with both Unity College's Animal Health and Behavior program, as well as, the Feline Conservation Fund's Animal Husbandry courses. I have taken several dog training classes, too. I previously had a husky who ended up getting cancer, so I have experience with both senior care and medication administration. I now have two adorable rescued shelter dogs. I have an Irish Setter who has major anxiety and a Pitbull Boxer mix that has anxiety, aggression, and separation issues. Due to taking care of those does for years, I have experience in those categories, as well.

I have extensive experience with both animal care and animal training, so I can take care of your pets to the exact need of each individual pet. I am good with both puppies and seniors, as well as, everything in-between. My goal is to take care of your pet and make them feel as comfortable as possible :)
Ratings and reviews
We have had Megan twice in our home. She’s fabulous. Our Finn loves her. The house was cleaner than when I left. Don’t hesitate. She’s very trustworthy. Love her!

Megan is incredible. She is a dog whisperer and has such a beautiful heart. She did a great job connecting with our doodle loved on him and walked him while we were at Disney for the day! We will 100% hire her the next time we are back!

I’d give ten stars if I could. Megan did “in our home care” for our 11 year old Irishdoodle while we were on a 14 day cruise. Not only did we have daily photos/updates but she gave our 55 lb doodle a bath too! Our home was cleaner than we left it when we returned. Including fresh bed linens and a plate of homemade cookies! Really . . Don’t hesitate to call her . . . But wait, we’re hiring her again in April! ❤️❤️😍❤️❤️

Megan always takes awesome care of our pup and cats! I never have to worry about them when I book Megan; I know she’ll be on time and incredibly loving and careful with our animals. I can’t recommend her enough.

Megan is amazing! Takes amazing care of our house and dogs. Our flight was delayed and she had flexibility to help us out and stay longer. Always a great communicator and our pups love her!

Megan is the absolute best!! I made a mistake in the booking and she made it possible to cover the gap. The updates about Rex where daily and even if asked about potential new health problem. Will be requesting Megan's services again!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Being a stay at home "dog mom," I have pretty open availability to do in home visits and dog walks. Unfortunately, due to both of my dogs special needs, I cannot have the pets stay at my home because my dogs are not dog friendly. However, I can be available in the early mornings, late evenings, and everything in-between!

- I love to know if there are any special needs, certain behaviors, or triggers that I should know about the pet. My one dog is super sensitive to a lot of noises and excitement. My other dog can get aggressive especially if food is around, so it's always good to know any specifics about a pet's life and behavior so I can tailor my visits to that pets needs!
