We walk every day at 11am and 7pm in the summer, or just 10am in winter when it's dark. Weekdays, weekends and holidays all included. Rain or shine!

Join Merlin and I for forest walks

Merlin and I walk twice a day in Mortimer Forest. He is an only dog so would love some company! Merlin just turned 2 and is a bedlington whippet lurcher who runs very fast and loves chasing sticks. He also loves paddling in rivers and streams. If you think your dog would like to join us for a high energy hour-long walk let us know! I am a highly caring and careful owner to Merlin and would be the same towards your dog. Whilst we have lots of fun I am always aware of our surroundings (I have to be with a lurcher!) and safety is my priority.

Megan is a really conscientious and caring person. She’s taken excellent care of my whippets Martha and Rufus many times over the past 2 years, and knows some excellent walks to help them run off steam. She really understands what sighthounds need, and how they differ from other dogs. She’s always very attentive, and they love going out with her - always very happy wagging tails!
I have known Megan for many years. She has always been brilliant with my dog who is now blind with hearing loss. Megan always makes sure she is mindful of her sensory needs when taking her for walks, especially around other dogs. Megan's dog Merlin is incredibly gentle and calm around my dog which is lovely to see.
Megan is tremendously conscientious, careful and caring with my old terrier. He's 12, but when he's been on a walk with her, he always comes back so sprightly! I would recommend Megan to anyone.
