I had my own dog growing up for almost 15 years and have had four cats in my lifetime (all 17+). I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for ~8 years in NYC throughout the different neighborhoods I’ve lived. I have previously taken care of senior dogs with medication and other health needs. I previously volunteered with adoptable cats for a year and administered daily medications, food, and care. I have had several repeat cat clients and have previously taken care of and administered medication to kittens only a few months old. I have had several long-term repeat clients, including a puppy I met at 8 weeks who I’ve now cared for regularly for 5 years. I helped his owner with training both inside and outside through his puppyhood and adolescence. I’m comfortable with vet appointments and remain calm, cool, and collected in emergency situations.

I have taken care of both cats and dogs. I live within walking distance of several parks and would love to take any dog-park loving dogs to the dog run! I am always available to do check-ins and whatever specific requests the client may need. I believe all pets should be treated as family, and I’ll show as much love to them as I would my own.

Megan was the best with Kody! He is an energetic large puppy recovering from a leg injury—a sweet boy not the easiest to care for. But Megan got him the gentle exercise he needed, and sent lots of pictures of Kody being happy and well worn out. She also was extremely accommodating with a last minute request for a sitter! Would return Kody to Megan any time.
megan was amazing! showed up on time, sent check ins along the way, and was willing to extend a bit later when asked. i felt totally comfortable having her in my apartment and will absolutely book again!
Megan was fantastic! She was very responsive, flexible, and accommodating to Leo's needs. She also sent the best picture I have of him yet - very impressed! I know Leo had a wonderful time staying with her!
Megan has taken care of our dog, when we were out of town. Godiva enjoyed having her visit and the love and attention she gave. It was very comforting to me to know that our pet was in good hands while we were away. We highly recommend Megan as a pet sitter.
Megan was amazing with my pup Niko. I sent him to her for daycare and was updated with pictures which was great. At the end of the day Niko was completely exhausted and I could tell that he had a blast. Highly recommend.
Megan is a caring and responsible young woman who loves animals! She grew up with a dog and two cats. She adores her pets and loves them up anytime she is home from college. Throughout her high school years, Megan volunteered at the Atlanta Zoo, making meals for animals in the zoo kitchen and giving mini-lectures to kids and their families who visited the zoo. Megan is conscientious and hard-working and you can trust the care of your dog to Megan, knowing 100% that she will love and care for your pet as kindly as she does her own.

Schedule
I recently left my full time role in project management to start my master’s degree in social work at NYU this fall. I have a fairly flexible schedule with school and will do my best to accommodate specific timing requests!
