Hi! I’m a student nurse with a genuine passion for caring, for both people and animals. I’m dog first aid qualified and hold an animal management qualification, with experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’ve owned cats my whole life and have also had dogs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’ve been working as a pet sitter and dog walker for several years, including experience across different platforms and even abroad in Australia. This has given me confidence with everything from energetic dogs to more nervous or shy pets who need a calmer, patient approach. Dog Boarding 🐶 We offer licensed (no CCDC/DOGBOARD/48/26) home-from-home dog boarding for up to 1–2 dogs from the same household at a time, allowing me to provide dedicated 1:1 care and attention. We don’t have any dogs of our own, making our home ideal for dogs who prefer a quieter environment. We have a secure fenced garden area and plenty of cosy sofa space for relaxing. We accept crate-trained dogs, as they generally settle more quickly and comfortably in a new environment. Walks are tailored to each dog’s individual needs and energy levels, whether that’s a long adventure along the canal, exploring Cannock Chase, or a gentler stroll to our local park with its duck pond. At home, dogs enjoy a variety of enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. Doggie Day Care 🐕 I also offer doggy day care for owners who need reliable care while they’re away for the day. Your dog will receive the same personalised 1:1 attention in a safe, home environment, with enrichment activities and walks included throughout their stay. My aim is to ensure every dog is happy, engaged, and well cared for until it’s time to head home. Dog Walking🦮🐾 I offer tailored dog walks to suit your dog’s individual needs, whether they’re full of energy and love long, stimulating walks or prefer something slower and more relaxed. Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my priority. I’m confident handling different breeds and temperaments, and I make sure each walk is both enjoyable and enriching. You can trust that your dog will be well cared for and returned home content and settled. Drop-In Visits🐱 🐶 My drop-in visits are perfect for pets who are happiest staying in their own home. I can provide feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, toilet breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention and reassurance while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet so I can match their routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. Whether your pet is playful, independent, or a little shy, I’ll make sure they feel safe and relaxed.

Megan was so wonderful with our 8 month pup! She sent regular updates with photos each time! I was initially worried as I had never used a home boarder before but Megan made us feel at ease right from the initial meet and greet! Would 100% recommended over and over 🫶🏼
Thank you Megan for your wonderful care of Bert and Ernie whilst I was away for work, for the week. Great communication and excellent care for the boys. Megan and Jack looked after Bernie for me and were absolutely brilliant with my little pup. They sent lots of photos and messages, which really put me at ease. I’d definitely use them again

Schedule
I’m a student nurse and work as a bank nursing assistant, so I pick up my own shifts and therefore have control over my own working schedule. I am mostly available on weekends but with notice I can provide week day care and longer stays.

Safety, trust & environment
Before I look after your pet, I will take detailed notes on their current routine at home and I will stick to that whilst looking after them myself. This will ensure your pet remains as happy as possible whilst you’re away.
A typical day
Dogs in my care will enjoy a variety of fun, stimulating activities tailored to their individual needs, personalities, and energy levels. If your dog loves adventures we will explore the trails of Cannock Chase. For gentler outings, we can visit the local park which has duck pond. Back at home, there’s always time for cuddles, one-on-one attention, plenty of play and enrichment activities.
