I have found that cats tend to feel most at-ease in the safety and comfort of their own home! They already miss you tons when you’re away, which is why I love coming to them! This way they can continue feeling happy, safe and secure in the place they are most comfortable: your home! They’ll have all their favorite toys, treats, etc. and I’m happy to maintain their routine as much as possible! Whether that means playing with their favorite laser pointer or brushing them, my goal is to provide care that maintains their daily routine!

Before pet-sitting, I would like to know the location of their food, bowls, litter box, favorite toys, treats, etc. in your home and would love to learn about their personality in general! Is your cat playful? Shy? Cuddly? Outgoing? Please also let me know if your cat has a disability or if they’re on any medications you’d like me to give them while you’re away!
A typical day
I am available to care for your cat however best fits their needs! Refilling food/water bowls, scooping litter, playing, having supervised balcony time, cuddling, etc. Each pet is unique and can benefit from individualized activities that maintain their routine! Whether your cat loves to play with a wand, cuddle or keep to themselves, I will show them love and give them company in the way they prefer!

Pet care experience
As an animal lover I have always had animals in my life for as long as I can remember and love meeting new ones! While I love all animals, I specialize in cat care! For over 2 years I worked part-time at Mac Tabby Cat Café and gained valuable experience caring for cats, administering medications and ensuring their safety and comfort. As a cat mom of 3 cats, one of which is a tripod, I also have added experience caring for an animal with a physical disability. I adopted my cats from the Humane Society of Charlotte, where I’ve also volunteered. I’ve also fostered through Animal Care & Control! All of these experiences have given me exposure to a variety of cats of all temperaments, ages, sizes and abilities. While I primarily care for cats, I am also a dog lover and would also love to care for your dog (especially if they have feline siblings)! Please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm usually available for last-minute bookings too. I can't wait to meet you and your pet!

My 3 girls LOVE Megan! Even my extremely shy void baby wanted lovin' after a few days. Megan is a sweetheart, takes lots of pictures and is very communicative with what's going on and responds quickly to messages. She was able to care for my girls last minute when other plans fell through. I'm so grateful for the care she gave my girls and I will always book with her first from this point on.
