Reliable and Pawfessional Pet Care!
I am currently a small animal veterinarian licensed in both Kentucky and Georgia, but have been in the veterinary medical field since 2009, starting out as a vet assistant. While I have enjoyed helping animals throughout my veterinary career, I have decided to step away from the long, demanding hours of clinical medicine in order to have a better work-life balance so that I can spend more time with my family. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing what I love, which is caring for animals. As a veterinarian, I have worked with all ages and breeds of dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with special medical needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a senior with more in depth needs, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or help with a pet who needs a little extra time and attention, I'd love to meet you and your best friend! Megan looked after my dog, Figgy, every day for two weeks during an especially busy time at work. I had never trusted anyone else to look after her before, so I was understandably nervous about how it would go. I honestly couldn’t recommend Megan enough! Figgy had such a wonderful time and was made to feel like part of the family. I never had to worry about her care or happiness, which was such a huge weight off my mind during an already busy period. Megan was incredibly welcoming, flexible, and caring, and it was clear how much she genuinely loved having Figgy around (and vice versa). I would absolutely trust Megan with Figgy again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. Thank you, Megan and Parker!
Megan was an excellent sitter for my dog, Hester and I would definitely want her as a sitter again. With my dog requiring medication which included insuliin injections, Megan went out of her way with different strategies to make sure Hester received his medication even when it was challenging to get him to eat in order to give him his medication. She is very knowledgeable as well as compassionate which was very comforting. Megan also provided me updates with pictures of Hester which added to my releif that Hester was in good hands.
I cannot recommend her enough! She took amazing care of Reo, and her communication was excellent. She kept me updated throughout the stay and sent me multiple pictures of how Reo was doing. I contacted her at the last minute because Reo had recently been neutered and couldn't attend daycare, and I had to go to work. She was more than willing to take care of Reo on short notice, gave him his medication, and made sure he was comfortable. Thank you so much Megan for your kindness, flexibility, and excellent care!
We recommend Megan as a pet sitter. She’s been our veterinarian for a few years now and has taken care of our Bulldog when needed and answered any questions we’ve had concerns about.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a veterinarian transitioning away from full-time clinical practice to create more time for my family, I now have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or medication administration, I can easily build my schedule around each pet's individual needs. Caring for animals has always been more than just my profession, it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day.

A typical day
Each visit is all about keeping your pet happy and comfortable. I will stick to their normal routine with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, fresh water, and meals or medications as needed. I’ll give them lots of attention and make sure they are settled and comfortable before I leave. I’ll also send you some photos and a quick update so you know how they’re doing!
