I used to have three cats of my own, I got my first one about 10 years ago. One of my cats has diabetes so I am used to dealing with health issues. My brother has a puppy we care for sometimes and I have house/pet sit multiple times for dogs. We recently had to put our oldest cat to sleep so I am eager to care for other cats in the grief.

I like to make pets as comfortable as possible as I know it is difficult for some pets to adjust to new people. But I do think I am inclined for pets to like me because I am very used to them.

Megan was excellent in house sitting our two 9 month old kittens. She was very attentive to their needs and went out of her way to take care of them like her own. She was also super communicative and made sure to clarify things with us. She even sent their pics to us on a daily basis. The kittens seem healthy, happy and well taken care. Will definitely be rebooking Megan for future house sitting.

We had this sitter stay in our home to care for our large dog. During the stay, she texted one evening saying she felt uneasy about our dog’s attention seeking behaviors (barking, hitting with her paws, groaning, whining). We reassured her this was normal and provided guidance on how to manage it, and the booking was completed without further communication about any issues. Several weeks later, we were surprised to learn through Rover that she reported being bitten during the stay. She did not inform us at the time of any bite or injury, and the stay concluded as scheduled. There were no physical appearance of any wounds on her body in passing as we arrived and she was leaving. Because this was unexpected and not communicated to us directly when it allegedly occurred (nor was there footage of the incident on our home cameras), we recommend that future owners have very detailed discussions in advance about comfort levels with large, energetic dogs and request immediate communication if any incident happens. Megan may be more suitable for cat sitting. Outside of this, she was very respectful and kind, there were no other problems.

Megan has been a professional cat care taker for almost fifteen years. She has a kind heart and is very thorough with cat needs and routine. She knows how to give shots and would be a wonderful fit to your pet care needs. She hasn't had as much experience with dog sitting but she just loves animals. Please give her the opportunity.

Schedule
I currently don’t have a full time job, I have been looking to work with pets most of the time. I am available every day as I don’t have anything to do so if you need a sitter, i’m available!
