I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to give your dog my full attention throughout the day. Walks, potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles can easily fit into my routine. Since I don't have pets of my own in the house, your pup gets a calm environment and one-on-one care.

I have a fully fenced-in yard, so your dog can safely enjoy time outdoors. I also live close to the Big Rapids Dog Park and Riverwalk, which are great options for exercise and enrichment if your pup is comfortable around new environments. I have experience with dogs who are shy or uncomfortable around unfamiliar people or other pets, and I can easily adjust to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and stress-free, whether that means social outings or a calm, private space just for them. If needed, I have 2 crates, a dog ramp, and dog stairs if your pet needs help getting on the furniture or a safe place to stay if I have to leave. Just let me know if these items are needed!

Your dog will love exploring, playing fetch, or lounging in my fenced-in yard at their leisure throughout the day. I will take your dog on quick walks throughout the day if they need to get their energy out and plan a longer evening walk or trip to the dog park if your dogs need more play! We will end the day with cuddles on the couch before bed!

I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from bouncy puppies who want to play nonstop to older pups who need a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, snuggles, and following detailed care routines. I also have experience giving oral medications, working with leash-pullers, and helping anxious dogs feel calm while their people are away. I don’t just ‘watch’ pets, I connect with them. I know being away from their person can be stressful, so I make sure every pup gets plenty of love, attention, and consistency. I’ll follow your instructions to the letter, and I'll send photo and text updates, so you always know how your dog is doing. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is simple: happy tails, stress-free owners, and a wagging welcome home.

Boone stayed 5 days with Megan and had a great time. He went on walks and had great play time with his new friend Atlas. Boone will definitely want to stay with Megan again!
We had such an amazing experience with Megan and truly couldn’t recommend her more. We have a very high-energy 6 month old puppy, so we’re always a little nervous leaving her with someone new— but from the very beginning, we felt completely at ease. One of the best parts was the consistent daily updates. She sent photos and videos every day, and it made such a difference in giving us peace of mind. We could clearly see how happy, active, and well cared for our dog was the entire time. She went above and beyond to make sure our pup got plenty of exercise, taking her on lots of walks and keeping her engaged. We also loved hearing that she made a couple new puppy friends during her stay. It was so reassuring knowing she was not only cared for, but genuinely enjoying herself. At the end, we even received a detailed report card, which was such a thoughtful touch. It gave us a great snapshot of how she did, her behavior, and all the fun she had. Overall, this was an incredible experience from start to finish. We felt completely confident that our dog was in the best hands with Megan, and we’ll absolutely be using her again in the future.
Boone had a great time staying at Megan's. She takes such good care of him and he made a new friend while he was there.
