Hello! My name is Megan and I adore animals! I started dog sitting and walking when I was about 12. I cared for neighbors', friends, and family's pets of all types. Now, into my 30's, I am investing in dog behavioral education to better care for your canine family members! Drop-ins: Care includes feeding, play time, potty breaks, giving them oral medications, grooming/bathing (add-on), and generally keeping them company while you're away! Walks: Besides the walking part, I can also do some walk training for a more pleasant experience for both the walker and the pup. Additionally, I can do things like bring in any packages from the porch and refill water bowls. I carry training treats, but if you have a preference that you provide, I am happy to use those instead. I have two guinea pigs (both boys) at home, myself! They are my good, good boys, but they won't be TOO jealous that I share my time with other fuzzy critters! Home-based freelance art can get lonely and sedentary, so being able to get out and interact is both good for me and your beloved pet(s)! At home I need to be sure I know where everything your dog needs is located - food, treats, bedding, scoopers, leash, toys, carriers, medications, etc. Phone numbers for e-vets and/or trusted people in case there is an emergency are also important. I do not do walks after dark. I keep weekends blocked for work traveling. During the week, I will do walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I only care for dogs at the client's home. I am able to transport dogs with my vehicle, which is a 4 door sedan. If your dog has triggers (leash anxiety/aggression, special requirements, etc), you must be sure to share them with me. Meet and Greets are a must! Please be sure you have time to schedule a M&G before the booking date so we can be sure we are all a good fit!
