Family of dog lovers!
I got my first dog when I was 4 years old, his name was Tigger and I loved that dog more than words could hope to express. Sadly Tigger is no longer with us but I learned a lot from growing up with him. Tigger got diabetes as he aged so I am familiar with administering insulin shots, I know how to deal with a myriad of health issues (from ear infections to wound care), we have helped another one of our dogs recover from a two hind leg paralyzation (this sounds fake but it is a true story ask me about Bully) and helped my own dog, Chica recover from IMHA which required incredibly time sensitive oral medication administration and monitoring. I've had dogs growing up my entire life. Both smaller dogs (mini dobermans and mini doberman mixes, and maltese dogs) and large dogs (lab mixes, doodles, golden retrievers and rottweilers) because my family has always loved having pets around. Through Rover we have watched many many new breeds as well and each one has been a joy and educational experience for all of us.

My old dog, Norton, has been taken care of by Megan and her family a number of times. He loves seeing her and has no problems going with her. That makes me feel much more comfortable about leaving him. He always looks so good and happy with he returns. I greatly appreciate finding her to care for my fur baby.

Megan was awesome - our two dogs had a great time with her and and we were given daily updates and photos which was nice to receive while we were away. Megan also has a nice outdoor space in the yard for the pups to have access to which was a great plus. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am currently working remotely so I am available all day to care for you beloved fur children. I'm happy to take them on walks or just hang out with them so they don't get lonely.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I do my best to keep their routine familiar and their environment safe, calm, and comfortable. Making sure doors and gates are secure, watching for potential hazards, and giving each pet plenty of attention, play, and care based on their needs. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and health and stay in touch with owners so they feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and engaged with fun activities that match their personality and energy level. This can include playtime with their favorite toys, interactive games, walks or outdoor time if allowed, and plenty of cuddles and affection. I also enjoy spending quiet time with pets who prefer a calmer pace, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and entertained.
