Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I prioritize maintaining their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and any necessary medication according to their specific needs. I also offer companionship, keeping pets engaged and reassured while their owners are away. Additionally, I respect my clients' homes by keeping spaces clean and following any special instructions to ensure a seamless experience for both pets and owners.

Information megan p. would like to know about your pet

To make sure your pet has the best and most comfortable experience, I like to know a few key things ahead of time: Daily routine: feeding times, walk schedules, bedtime, etc. Energy level & activity needs — are they a couch potato or a ball-chasing machine? Temperament — how do they do with new people, other pets, or kids? Any behavioral quirks or triggers — leash reactivity, separation anxiety, chewing habits, etc. Medical needs — medications, allergies, or any health concerns Commands or cues they know (and ones they’re still working on) Crate trained or free roam? Any house rules I should follow? The more I know upfront, the better I can tailor care to your pet’s needs and make sure they feel safe, and loved

A typical day

I believe that stimulation for a dog is so important so we would play together, i wold let the pet do a "sniff walk" as sniffing is very good stimulation but also making sure they are getting human connection and feel safe while their owner is away. Here is what a typical day could look like: Every pet is different, so I do my best to match their energy, comfort level, and routine! A typical day includes: Morning potty break & breakfast to start the day right 🌞 A nice walk or some backyard playtime to burn off that morning energy Midday cuddles or enrichment time (treat puzzles, toys, or just hanging out if they’re chill) Another potty break or short walk to keep things moving! Dinner around your pet’s normal schedule, Evening play or snuggles, depending on what your pet enjoys most Bedtime follows their usual routine — whether that’s crate time, cuddling on the couch, or their favorite spot I'm happy to follow any special routines or preferences you and your pet have — I want them to feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away!

I have three years of experience providing loving and reliable dog sitting, caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I’ve fostered puppies through the Humane Society, gaining hands-on experience with young dogs and their unique care requirements. I’ve also cared for senior dogs and those needing medication, ensuring they stay comfortable, safe, and well-cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide compassionate, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs.

Megan was amazing with my fur babies and I will definitely be reaching out again to have her back!

I can’t recommend Megan enough as a dog sitter. She has spent years caring for dogs of all breeds and personality types. What really stands out is how great she is with senior dogs, especially those who need special diets or meds. Megan is super reliable, gentle, and genuinely loves animals (she will sometimes cry over extremely cute dog photos). Every dog in her care is treated like family. If you want someone you can fully trust with your pup, Megan is your girl.

Megan has been wonderful with my pup Isla. She has watched her overnight, over the course of a full week, and has also checked in during the days to get her to go potty or take a short walk whenever I have needed her. Isla loves Megan, she gets so excited anytime Megan watches her or sees her. I don’t have to worry about knowing what Isla is up to cause she updates me throughout the day! If you’re looking for someone who will watch your pet like their own, Megan is the perfect pet sitter for you!
