A Walk a Day Keeps the Vet Away! 🐶
Howdy! My name is Meg and I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. My dog Astro is an 8 year old brindle boxer who I have raised since he was 8 weeks old. He’s got a big personality and is super goofy and expressive. Astro is the only dog that I have personally owned (mostly because my family has dog allergies and we couldn’t have one growing up), but I have many years of experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Before moving from Texas to KC, I volunteered at the Austin Animal Center working with the dogs there. Since moving to KC, I have been volunteering with KC Pet Project. Doing so has given me the opportunity to go through a lot of training on dog handling and care. I’ve also cared for pets of friends and family as long as I can remember.

Megan and her husband did an incredible job watching our two boys! It’s always a little stressful leaving your pets with someone new, but they made us feel at ease right away and were consistently sending updates! Would 100% have them watch our pups again!

Schedule
I typically work from home during the week, so your pup will have plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, etc. throughout the day while they are here.

A typical day
Even though we live in an apartment, we are right next to a park where we go on daily walks and the BarK dog park so your furry friend will have plenty of walks and exercise. Astro spends a lot of his time these days lounging/napping, but is also very playful and loves playing with his gajillion toys. No matter how your pup prefers to spend their time, we can accommodate. There will be no shortage of snuggles either!
