I’m a recent graduate and will be starting a new job in my field the beginning of October (2025). I’ll be working Monday-Thursday and one weekend a month. On my days off I enjoy getting out of the house to go on walks, runs, hikes, bike rides, playing frisbee/fetch, sniffaris, etc. My partner, Joshua, helps while I’m away and he’s also verified on Rover. We work together to ensure that all animals receive the best possible care, love, and exercise (both physical and mental). Due to our schedules, dogs must be okay in a crate/gated space for 4 hrs/day as we are not home 24/7. I typically provide updates at least once a day, and extra updates are bonuses 😋

Safety, trust & environment
I want to ensure that all of the dogs I care for have a safe and comfortable stay. We have a wooden fenced in backyard and always monitor when the dogs play. We have baby gates and other methods of ensuring that the dogs don’t get into certain spaces, like the pantry. We have a few crates in our home if dogs need to be crated.

Information Megan O. would like to know about your pet
A couple of things I’d like to know about your dog(s) ahead of time: 1) Is your dog friendly with other dogs or reactive? 2) Does your dog have any food allergies? 3) How does your dog do on a leash?
A typical day
Hiking is one of my biggest passions and I enjoy seeing happy dog faces on the trail, so I’d love to take your dog into the woods to see and smell nature. On my walks I always carry treats in a fanny pack to encourage appropriate behavior while having fun. I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park where they can socialize with other pups. If your dog has a favorite place to go to, I’d be more than happy to take them there!

Pet care experience
My partner (Joshua) and I have been caring for all kinds of dogs, cats, and even rabbits through Rover since 2022! We enjoy participating in dog sports including canicross, skijoring, and toss & fetch frisbee. Our home has been coined the GR Hostel for Hounds! We take great care to make a relaxing, fun, and safe environment for dogs and cats that choose to stay with us. Hostel amenities include an outdoor dog pool, lounging cots, and frozen peanut butter kongs + pupsicles. I work on positive reinforcement with my dogs, so I always carry a pack of dog treats on me when I take the dogs out of the house and I will do the same with yours. We do NOT accept aggressive, highly anxious, or very vocal dogs.
Reviews

Megan is a wonderful sitter! Our dog loves to go! We receive awesome photos and she gets regular exercise and fun exploring around town. She has stayed many times and always a great experience!

Megan did such a great job with our energetic pup! We are so thankful for the attention and exercise she gave him in addition to the wonderful care.

Megan is very accommodating and easy to coordinate with! She is very active and keeps the pets busy playing. My pup always has a great time and comes home nice and tired!

Megan was very friendly and a fast communicator and send us updates daily of royley. Thanks again!
