I have grown up with multiple dogs since I was 10 years old. For several years, my family had 3 dogs in our house! I have experience taking care of my family's dogs as well as dog-sitting for neighbors and friends. My love for dogs in particular inspired me to seek out a doggy daycare job. I worked at a unique doggy daycare that prides itself in off-leash play. Notably, this daycare does not have kennels or cages, so the dogs must be supervised at all times. From this job I gained valuable training and knowledge in canine body language, which helped me to ensure safe interactions among groups of up to 30 dogs! Additionally, I fed the dogs meals and took on the responsibility of supervising the dogs that boarded overnight. Lastly, having owned both puppies and senior dogs, I am experienced in redirecting behaviors and administering medications.

I have experience dog-sitting reactive dogs. As a result, I am highly vigilant and carefully observe the surroundings before taking any dog on a walk. I am experienced and comfortable using gentle leaders, harnesses and all types of leashes.

Megan was awesome! Our dog seemed very content in all the pics she sent. He’s a 60lb pitbull/boxer mix and is very friendly but very energetic and strong and intimidates some people, but Megan seemed totally at ease with him at our meet and greet, which made us feel good about leaving him w her. She sent a few pics per day at our request, and when he didn’t eat for a day, she reached out to ask if there was anything she could do to get him interested in his food. Super happy and would def book again!

Schedule
I'm currently in graduate school, but there are some days (Wednesdays and Fridays) that I do not have class. Depending on the time, I would be able to stop by for walks and potty breaks throughout the week on days that I do have class. I am available most weekends.
