Safety, trust & environment

As an avid life long animal lover, rescuer, and health provider-animal health and happiness is what drives my life. I thrive on being able to give the best animal care to all that I come into contact with. I also have 3 years of Veterinary Medication Experience as an Assistant, which means I am able to medicate animals at your home as prescribed and needed, am CPR trained, and can even do minor at home medical care such as Sub q fluids (upon paperwork from DVM showing prescription). I specifically love taking care of senior pets!

Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet

For the best experience for everyone involved it helps to know what level of activity your pet needs/likes, any medical conditions and medications they are on, and if they have special requirements around other animals.

A typical day

As a lover of nature walks and parks, I have a long list of great spots for both in many different areas available. This helps me decide where near you your pup may love to go, or a good place to travel to near by. Near my own home, I personally love to go to Yost park and the local middle school.

Pet care experience

I grew up as the "can we keep it?" kid. I've been rescuing various animals, working with pets, and volunteering in shelters and rescue/rehab since I was 10 years old. As of 2020 I took the leap of faith to follow my dreams of pursuing Veterinary Medicine. While I currently work in Urgent Care, ER, and Specialist services, I hope to expand my knowledge to work with Exotics, Large Animal, and even Wildlife Rehabilitation. The sky is the limit, and I have been fortunate to be able to dedicate my entire life to animals now! I am proud to be able to provide services such as medicating pets and checking vitals for those with pets with complications. I also love to send photos when requested so you can see your pets smiling faces through your busy day. I currently have two cats at home both with specific health concerns, so I am unfortunately unable to provide care in my own apartment until I have more space.

We couldn’t be more grateful for Megan’s assistance. Not only did she develop an instant rapport with our cat, she was communicative, thorough, thoughtful, and attentive at every step of the way. Thank you!
