Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, two friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company, and crates of all sizes if your dog needs to be crated. If your dog does best with their own space, I’m able to provide a separate area in my house and yard so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. My priority is creating a safe, stress free environment where your dog feels happy, comfortable, and right at home!

Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know anything that helps your baby or you feel more comfortable. It’s important for me to learn your dog’s routine, energy level, personality, medical needs, medications, allergies, triggers, favorite activities, and sleeping habits. I’d also love to know whether they enjoy being around other dogs, prefer their own space, or if crate time is part of their normal routine. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your baby’s stay safe, stress free, and tailored to their individual needs!
A typical day
Each dog’s day is tailored to their energy level and needs. We’ll start with potty breaks and outdoor time, followed by play, walks, or exploring the yard. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of supervision, attention, rest, and cuddle time. I also make sure dogs have mental stimulation, a calm routine, and a comfortable space to relax so they feel happy, safe, and right at home.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a GPT-certified dog trainer with education in canine behavioral science. I worked at the Humane Society for over four years and have also trained service dogs. I’ve spent 15+ years caring for, watching, and fostering dogs, including those with special needs such as my tripod pup and senior blind dogs, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, personalities, and abilities. I live on 5 acres in Suffolk and am home full time with my husband. Dogs in my care receive a safe, structured, and attentive environment. I can keep dogs separate when needed based on their comfort level and preferences. I also provide daily report cards, regular updates, and professional quality photos so you can see how your dog is doing while you’re away. I care for every dog with the same patience, attention, and consistency as my own, and I’d love to provide a home away from home for your pup!
Reviews

Megan was amazing I recently boarded my rescue Prince for the first time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Megan took such amazing care of Prince during his two-night stay. She went above and beyond—sending me some of the best photos and videos I’ve ever had of him, including clips of him playing and socializing with larger dogs (which was a first for him!). It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. When I picked him up, it was clear he had an incredible time—he was almost sad to leave! He even made a new best friend with her dog, Kava. I’m so grateful for the care and attention Megan gave, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!

I’m very satisfied with Megan she is the best sitter I’ve had off Rover. My dog loves the environment and I see a difference in his happiness 😃😃😃

megan was AMAZING. i'm sooo glad i kept searching for someone to fit exactly what i was looking for because i was not disappointed with maise's stay here. from the meet and greet to maise's stay, she made sure i had nothing to worry about regarding leaving maise with her and her family. she treated maise like he was apart of the family from the moment we dropped him off. she sent reassuring pics and videos to let me know everything was okay & by the same night i dropped him off, i was at ease. the pups became best friends and i knew maise was in great hands. maise WILL be returning and if youre reading this, your pup should too. the experience was nothing short of amazing and we had no complaints. can't wait for maise to return soon so he can be reunited with his bestie! thank you so much for everything megan, you're the best.

Megan is the best sitter ever! She made me feel so comfortable through the entire process. She sent amazing update photos and gave a cute doggy report card at the end of the day. I’m so happy with the experience and will definitely book her again ASAP
