I’m home full time and live on 5 peaceful acres, which means plenty of supervised outdoor time, attention, and care throughout the day. Your dog will have a consistent, loving routine and lots of personalized care while you’re away. Because I’m home, I can provide frequent companionship, flexible routines, and the extra attention many dogs need to feel comfortable and settled.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, two friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company, and crates of all sizes if your dog needs to be crated. If your dog does best with their own space, I’m able to provide a separate area in my house and yard so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. My priority is creating a safe, stress free environment where your dog feels happy, comfortable, and right at home!

Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know anything that helps your baby or you feel more comfortable. It’s important for me to learn your dog’s routine, energy level, personality, medical needs, medications, allergies, triggers, favorite activities, and sleeping habits. I’d also love to know whether they enjoy being around other dogs, prefer their own space, or if crate time is part of their normal routine. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your baby’s stay safe, stress free, and tailored to their individual needs!
A typical day
Each dog’s day is tailored to their energy level and needs. We’ll start with potty breaks and outdoor time, followed by play, walks, or exploring the yard. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of supervision, attention, rest, and cuddle time. I also make sure dogs have mental stimulation, a calm routine, and a comfortable space to relax so they feel happy, safe, and right at home.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a GPT-certified dog trainer with education in canine behavioral science. I worked at the Humane Society for over four years and have also trained service dogs. I’ve spent 15+ years caring for, watching, and fostering dogs, including those with special needs such as my tripod pup and senior blind dogs, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, personalities, and abilities. I live on 5 acres in Suffolk and am home full time with my husband. Dogs in my care receive a safe, structured, and attentive environment. I can keep dogs separate when needed based on their comfort level and preferences. I also provide daily report cards, regular updates, and professional quality photos so you can see how your dog is doing while you’re away. I care for every dog with the same patience, attention, and consistency as my own, and I’d love to provide a home away from home for your pup!
Reviews

We were definitely pleased with our pups staying with Megan while we were out of town. We received pictures and or videos each day with a comment letting us know how they were doing! Highly recommend! Thanks!

Megan has been a blessing to have since I adopted my sweet girl JuneBug. She takes care of my dog likes it's her own. Super responsive when I have questions and always sends pictures while she's watching my dog. Highly recommend her to take care of your baby while out of town. 10 out of 10!!!

Megan does a great job with my two dogs. They come home and are ready for a good nap.

Megan was great and we would definitely use her again for petsitting! She sent videos and updates and my puppies seemed very happy with her!
