I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, which means I’m able to give plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m typically only away from home for a couple of hours at a time, so your pet will have lots of company, playtime, and supervision. Whether it’s a mid-day walk, weekend stay, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. Consistency, comfort, and connection are always my priorities.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets in my care are treated like family. I provide a calm, structured, and loving home environment where dogs can relax and feel secure. My home is pet-safe, clean, and set up for comfort, with plenty of room for lounging, play, and outdoor breaks. Because of my background running a dog rescue, I’m very experienced with different breeds, behaviors, and energy levels. I make sure each dog has the right balance of attention, activity, and rest, following their individual needs and routines. I’m home most of the day and maintain a consistent schedule, so pets are never left alone for long. You can trust that your dog will be safe, supervised, and cared for as if they were my own.

Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet
To make sure your dog has the best and most comfortable experience, I like to know a few key details ahead of time: Daily routine – meal times, walking schedule, and any house habits they’re used to. Temperament & triggers – how they do with other dogs, new people, or certain environments. Medical needs – medications, allergies, or any physical limitations. Training cues – commands they know, or behaviors you’re reinforcing. Comfort items – favorite toys, blankets, or anything that helps them feel at home. Because I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments, including those with behavioral or medical needs, I’m happy to tailor care to each pet’s unique personality and preferences, including keeping your dog separate from my dogs or solo boarding for reactive dogs.
A typical day
A typical day here starts with morning potty breaks, breakfast, and some fresh air time to stretch and play. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, we’ll enjoy a neighborhood walk, a game of fetch, or some enrichment activities like puzzle toys or training games. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of companionship; I have the ability to work from home, so dogs get lots of attention, love, and supervision. Midday breaks, cuddles, and naps are part of our routine too! Evenings wind down with another walk, dinner, and relaxed downtime so everyone settles in feeling happy, safe, and comfortable.

Pet care experience
I’ve been a proud pet owner my entire adult life, with a special place in my heart for large breeds like pitbulls, malinois, bloodhounds, and bulldogs. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs with a wide range of personalities — from high-energy working dogs to laid-back couch companions. In 2019, I founded a foster-based nonprofit dog rescue focused primarily on bully breeds. Through that work, I cared for dogs of all ages — from tiny puppies to gentle seniors — many with behavioral or medical needs. I gained hands-on experience with training, medication administration, socialization, and rehabilitation, all while ensuring each dog felt safe, loved, and understood. In 2023, I transitioned the rescue to my amazing team so I could focus on providing more individualized, one-on-one care through pet sitting. I bring the same dedication, structure, and compassion to every pet I look after as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs calm companionship, structured walks, or just someone who understands their unique quirks, they’ll be in good hands with me. ❤️
Reviews
Leaving my dog with Megan was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made. She is calm, confident, and truly understands animals. She respected my dog’s boundaries, kept him on his routine, and handled everything with so much care and compassion. I could tell he trusted her, which says everything. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands.
