While I’ve specialized in cat and small animal care for the last few years, I have many years of experience with dogs and I have expanded my services to include dog sitting as well. I have been a pet parent for over 20 years. During that time I have lived with several amazing cats, cared for many family dogs, fostered two dozen kittens, assisted with various rescue efforts, and provided pet care for many families while they were away from home. I also have experience with reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and other small mammal care. I currently live with two wonderful kitties. Ginger is my big and beautiful orange girl. She is a true Garfield type cat and would eat lasagna if I let her. Piper is my little shadowy all black soul-kitten. She just wants to be with me all the time and will even talk to me over the phone when I’m not home. In addition to general pet care I can administer meds, take temps, and even give subcutaneous fluids. These services can be provided after a sample session to see if the cat will be cooperative and for an additional fee.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets in my care are always treated respectfully and I always watch for cues on how they are feeling. I do not let cats out for any reason but will permit access to secure catios if requested. If there is ever an issue I will always notify you immediately and take appropriate measures to make sure your pets are safe and healthy.

Megan always takes great care of our cats! She was watching after them while our power was out during a heat wave and went above and beyond to provide us with updates and help make sure our kitties were comfortable and safe.
Cats all comfortable with her and never have any complaints. Feel safe leaving our 4 cats in her care when we on long vacations.

Schedule
Pet sitting is part of my daily routine. I am always upfront about other commitments I may have and work with a client to make sure they are comfortable with the times I’ll be checking in on their pets. I try to solidify my work/personal schedule 3-4 weeks in advance, so the sooner I know someone needs care for their pets, the better I can adjust things to accommodate those visits.

- I always want to know how your pet prefers to be touched, approached, played with, etc. if they have a favorite toy, let me know. If they are allowed treats, let me know what they prefer since I want to make sure I’m giving them their favorite treats.
