I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I grew up believing dogs are as much of a family member as I am. They are the greatest gifts on earth and I am so passionate about the goodness dogs bring into our lives. I have recently resigned in my nanny career, I was with this family for almost six years and I am still very close with the family, including their dog, Bailey. I took care of her as much as I took care of the boys. I included her in play, prioritized her health and exercise and taught the boys the importance of loving her and how she shows the boys she loves them. Additionally, last summer, my husband and I chose to take in my family dog of 12 years as our own to help my mom while she frequently traveled. In January he was diagnosed with two terminal cancers and so I made him my highest priority. He was the happiest, most loving and brave dog through his entire battle. We lost him in April and it was one of the hardest experiences I’ve gone through. While I am not ready to adopt a dog of our own yet; that passion for dogs is still apart of me and I believe meeting and caring for other dogs will support my grieving journey. I promise to love and care for your dog(s) as my own. I promise to do what’s best for them and to let them know just how special and loved they are at each visit.
