For the past 12 years, I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. What started as helping out family and friends has grown into a deep passion for providing safe, loving, and dependable care whenever pet parents need an extra hand. Over the years, I’ve dog sat energetic puppies, senior dogs needing a gentler pace, and everything in between. I’m comfortable with: * Daily walks and exercise routines * Feeding schedules and special dietary needs * Administering basic medications * Reinforcing training and good behavior * Providing companionship and emotional comfort Dog sitting isn’t just about supervision for me—it’s about creating a calm, nurturing environment where each dog feels secure and loved while their family is away. A big part of my experience comes from caring for my own dog, Roro. He’s a 6-year-old Retriever mix I adopted from Tijuana who had clearly experienced abuse before coming into my life. When I first brought him home, he was fearful of people and easily startled. Through patience, consistency, and a lot of love, I helped him slowly build trust and confidence. Watching him transform into the happy, affectionate dog he is today has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Because of Roro, I have a special understanding of anxious, shy, or previously mistreated dogs. I know how important it is to move at their pace, respect their boundaries, and create positive associations through gentle care. My years of hands-on experience—combined with raising and rehabilitating my own rescue—have given me the skills to handle a variety of temperaments and situations with calm confidence. Dogs aren’t just pets to me; they’re family.
