Because of that, I’m able to easily work pet care into my routine rather than leaving pets alone for long periods of time. Whether your pet needs regular potty breaks, walks, medication schedules, playtime, companionship, or simply someone consistently nearby, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and needs. I know how important consistency can be for animals while their owners are away, and I do my best to help them feel comfortable and secure.

I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and placing your pets in their care. I take that responsibility seriously and always aim to respect your home, routines, boundaries, and instructions exactly as requested. Clear communication is very important to me, so I encourage owners to share as much detail as possible about their pet’s routine, preferences, personality, and any household expectations ahead of time. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible while keeping your pets comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

I appreciate as much information as possible about your pet ahead of time because every animal has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. Even dogs of the same breed can be completely different, so I always prefer to learn about your individual pet rather than make assumptions. Some helpful things for me to know include: * energy level * feeding routine * potty schedule * walking preferences * social behaviors with people or other animals * anxieties or triggers * medications * training commands * favorite toys/activities * anything that helps them feel comfortable and secure I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes, including large breeds and breeds that are sometimes unfairly judged. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and positive environment where your pet feels cared for and understood while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day really depends on your pet’s personality, routine, and energy level. Some dogs love longer walks and exploring new environments, while others are happiest sticking to a calm routine with lots of naps and cuddle time — I’m happy to adapt either way. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be home more consistently throughout the day, which allows for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and companionship without pets being left alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, and I also support animal rescues through my walks throughout the year, which is something personally meaningful to me. Caring for animals has always been more than just a job for me, and I truly enjoy the companionship and routine that comes with it. If your dog enjoys car rides and outings, I’m also happy to include activities like going out for a drive, walks at local trails or pet-friendly treat stops (only with owner permission, of course). My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, whether they were my own or a friend’s. I’ve personally owned dogs ranging from Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Huskies, so I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. For a long time, apartment living kept me from having dogs of my own because I never wanted to keep a dog somewhere without enough space or an environment that felt right for them. Now that I have a home, I’m excited to not only have animals again, but also help care for other people’s pets when needed. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, playful, older, or just wants a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable. Walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication routines, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company — I take pet care seriously and always want owners to feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for while they’re away. Outside of pet care, I also work as a personal assistant and notary, so reliability, communication, organization, and attention to detail are already a huge part of my everyday life.

Megan is such an amazing dog sitter. She is punctual and very respectful. Megan walks my dog, plays with her, and takes great care of her. She is great with bathing and brushing my dog's coat so it's always so shiny and soft. You can tell that Megan loves animals and she's so sweet. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I’ve known Megan for over 12 years and she is an avid pet lover. She has always been prompt and reliable. My dog Lola loves having Megan watch her when I have to go out of town!
Megan was excellent with our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats) and they loved her. She walked and played with them and I am pretty certain she spoiled them a little. One of our pups, looked bummed that we were home because he seemed to be expecting their favorite person to come back. She did anytime we needed her.
