From the mitten to the sunshine state-- I rescued my "high maintenance" bully breed Dolly, and she is my world! She was labeled aggressive, after being attacked by a neighbor dog in her former foster home. Her rescue immediately pulled her, where she lived in veterinary boarding. I work with her everyday, to overcome her emotional trauma. An animal lover-advocate and vegan, I am passionate about being their voice, for family companion pets, and all animals. Working and training with my own pup benefits me hands-on experience, patience, humility, problem solving skills, and confidence. We lived the city life, which taught me time management, by keeping her on a regular schedule. It also throws curveballs, more often than not-- judgement from passer-byers, lack of fences and grass, bikers and traffic, etc. We also live the burb life, giving me experience in both environments. I trained my first dog using a waist leash, and positive reinforcement, methods I contine to live by. I understand animals have personality, and the importance of respecting and utilizing them. Therefore, I will have a conversation with you first about your pup's style of leash walking. I surround myself as often as possible with animals, specifically dogs. I am a dancer, yoga teacher, single parent, pet parent-- multitasking is my life! I look forward to our first meet and greet. 😎
