I bring a unique blend of advanced obedience training, senior care expertise, and a deep respect for each dog’s individual needs. I’ve trained alongside top professionals, including private trainers and lead trainers from Universal Studios’ ‘Animal Actors on Location!’ I’m confident in maintaining obedience commands and structure, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable environment. I have extensive experience administering a variety of medications to senior dogs, from oral pills to topical applications. I prioritize comfort by allowing each dog to acclimate at their own pace within my large, fenced-in yard and ample indoor spaces, helping them feel at ease quickly. I’m meticulous about feeding routines, understanding that even the friendliest dogs can be protective during mealtime. I separate dogs when necessary to ensure everyone feels secure and respected. Having owned dogs with severe allergies, I know firsthand the importance of dietary diligence, treating each dog as if they were my own. My goal is always to provide safe, loving care tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs.

Megan exceeds any expectation I could have for someone taking care of our dog. I feel so much peace of mind not only when our pet is in her care, but also knowing someone so great may be able to help look after her again in the future.. Our dog Carmie sure hopes so!
Megan was a life saver during a stressful week for our dog! My recovering pup had very specific needs- I was uneasy that I would find someone who was up for helping us out with my complex requests. Not only did Megan rise to the occasion, she far surpassed my expectations. It was like having a close family member come help take care of a pet that she already knew and loved... But she also happens to be very knowledgeable and experienced with animals. She was also proactive to come up with new ideas to help our dog who had specific needs. We hope our dog is lucky enough to spend time with Megan many times in the future !

I do not accept boardings unless I will be home and available to give your pup potty breaks, walks, and attention. I sometimes travel for work projects and do not take clients at that time.

My love for dogs started in childhood, and I’ve always shared my home with at least one dog, so I deeply understand the bond between a pet and their family. For decades, I’ve juggled my career with finding reliable, loving care for my own dogs, knowing how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. I understand the anxiety of hoping your pet is happy, safe, and adjusting well in new hands, which is why I prioritize clear communication and updates for my clients. Whether in my home or theirs, I ensure dogs feel loved, secure, and comfortable. In my home, I create a calm, spacious environment where dogs can explore at their own pace, enjoy playtime in my large fenced yard, or relax in a cozy indoor space that feels like home. I also adapt my care to each dog’s needs in a client’s home, respecting their routines and preferences to help them feel at ease. With every pet, my approach is rooted in empathy, personal experience, and a true desire to make them feel like family.

Having over 5 acres of land, there is a lot of exploring for us to do at my house. Whether your dog needs to burn off energy running around the fenced in yard with my dog, brings a favorite toy of theirs to play with, or prefers to be a couch potato and get some cuddle time with me, I am here to make sure they have a safe and fun time at camp.
