My dog is high energy and requires 1.5 hrs of exercise minimum per day, your dog is welcome to join us though I can accommodate a more quiet/ shorter walk where needed. I'm able to provide brain games (cardboard boxes filled with treats, dog puzzles, chew toys) and specialised walks depending on your dogs needs and consistent attention.

Your dog will have free access to the garden and house while here. They're welcome to sit/sleep on sofas, explore the house and make themselves comfortable so they can feel safe and relaxed. A specific feeding schedule for your dog can be catered to if need be, such as specific timings or feeding away from my dog if protective over food. My dog has plenty of toys to share, though if your dog has a habit of destroying/chewing toys please provide some of your own.

I require information on your dogs feeding schedule, any medication taken, and any behavioral issues that may arise in order to keep me, my dog and your dog safe. Behavior while walking is also essential if walking is required, such as lead reactivity, friendliness toward other dogs, recall and off-lead preferences. If you have a preference where or how your dog is walked please let me know and I'll accommodate the best I can. I will not walk your dog if information is not provided in order to keep your dog safe.
A typical day
I'm typically up early so your dogs day starts whenever they do. toilet breaks are as and when needed, your dog will not be made to wait. Water is constantly available. Walks occur typically in the early afternoon though this depends on weather and temperature, followed by a nap, then playtime before dinner. Your dog is welcome to sleep where ever they feel safe and comfortable. Our dog sleeps in a crate so you are welcome to provide one if this is how yours sleeps also.

I've been raised around dogs my whole life and was taught how to care for and train them as soon as I was able to. I have plenty of experience with administering a variety of medications and first aid (thanks to my Lurcher always going 100 miles an hour). I have a 4 year old male Lurcher called Buzz who is always looking for a play mate and attends a daycare regularly. He's playful with other dogs but generally bounces off how other dogs act, so if your dog is calm and prefers to be left alone, he won't bother them much. Our property has a large garden with tall fence which your dog will have free access to. There are many walking routes nearby to suit your dogs needs including a popular dog walking field. I am able to cater to most of your dogs needs, e.g. - feeding schedule, walking, playtime and rest time, medications etc. Please message me if unsure! I am able to collect and drop off your dog where possible but would encourage you to visit if your dog will be having an extended stay or regular visits, just for piece of mind. My availability is scheduled around my job so unable to be changed, I will not leave your dog alone in the house at any time.

This was our first time leave our pup for the day so I was very nervous… there was absolutely no reason to be though! Dave had a fabulous day with Megan and her lovely dog Buzz. He’s come back content and shattered after being made a part of their family for the day, and there were plenty of picture and video updates so I knew he was having a great time. Thank you again, Dave can’t wait for his next visit ❤️
Megan looked after our beagle at short notice. She was brilliant and sent photos of her stay. Highly recommend!
Megan has looked after our two terriers on numerous occasions, they are both always happy to see her and she treats them like her own. I receive regular updates when I ask for them and I dont use any other sitter. We cant recommend her enough.
Megan is an extremely conscientious young lady and we have been privileged to call her part of our doggy family. Her care, attention to detail, friendly, accommodating nature and approach towards the care of our dogs has been a godsend. Her time keeping is impeccable and her love for our fur babies genuine and Contagious. When dogsitting she keeps us informed with delightful video clips of their adventures. Megan has been so helpful in providing a service we were really worried about and I would highly recommend her to any future prospective hoomans in need of a trustworthy carer for their fur babies x
