Hi, We’re mother/daughter team Lois and Megan A. Since our miniature dachshund Lucy’s passing in 2012, our home has hosted a revolving door of doggie guests large and small. Both of us work from home, Lois as a seamstress and Megan as a writer/editor. This gives us the flexibility to provide each pup with undivided attention. They are rarely, if ever, left alone. We hope your fur baby enjoys their time with us as much as we love having them. Whether you need a pet sitter for a day or overnight boarding for a couple of weeks, we’re here to ensure your dog stays happy and healthy. We respect your buddy’s schedule, provide them a sense of stability and familiarity, and make your absence as stress-free as possible. Don’t worry; we uphold any rules you enforce in your home. No paws on the couch? No problem. We will not return your dog with any new bad habits. With Kokomo Home Buddies you can rest assured your precious pup gets ample play time, affection, and personal care. We understand your pooch is more than a pet – they’re part of your family. Megan and Lois did a fabulous job with Berry! She had such a great time. They sent updates daily and were very communicative!
Exceptional care. As always Megan and Lois take wonderful care of Daisy Mae. I always look forward to the daily updates they send. There were some bad storms that came through the area during Daisy Mae’s stay, which she has anxiety with, and Megan and Lois comforted her and got her through it. They even had a sleepover in the living room as it was quieter in that room to help Daisy Mae feel more relaxed. Megan and Lois go above and beyond caring and loving my Daisy Mae. I know when I drop Daisy Mae off she is in good hands and will be well loved.
Wonderful care provided by both Megan and Lois. They are caring and attentive to my dog’s wellbeing. Can’t recommend these ladies enough. Already have Daisy Mae’s next visit scheduled!
Megan and Lois are my go to pet sitters for Daisy Mae. The communication and updates are great and always include a picture of Daisy Mae. They always make us feel welcome when dropping off and picking up. Can’t say enough good things about Megan & Lois and how they take care of Daisy Mae 5 stars is not enough. Definitely worth booking with them
Cant speak highly enough of Megan and Lois! They watched my senior pup and gave her the best care. I appreciated their level of communication in providing updates and assurances for my pup. Their home was a warm and inviting environment. I'd recommend them to others and plan to use their services again.
Took great care of Gracie and kept us well informed while we were on vacation. She loved staying with Megan and Lois. Higher recommend.

Our 8-foot privacy-fenced back yard offers about about 1,000 sq. ft. of space to sniff and play as well as plenty of squirrels to chase. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and perfect for short strolls or long walks. We're also pros at classic pup games like tug-o-war and fetch. We've got loads of different kinds of toys - all of which are cleaned between clients. Your four legged family has their pick of many comfy spots for naps and snuggles. The family room sofa is particularly popular. We have dog beds, blankets, and an extra large crate so your doggo has several cozy options. When it's too cold to stay outside long, your dog can still enjoy watching birds and chipmunks from our heated sun room.
