Meg’s Pet services

Hi there! I’m a Veterinary Technician with 13 years of hands-on experience, and I currently serve as the Veterinary Technician Manager at a busy emergency animal hospital. I spent 7 years in general practice before moving into emergency medicine, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with a wide range of personalities, medical needs, and temperaments. I’m CPR certified (BLS & ALS) and trained in advanced emergency care. I can administer medications, give subcutaneous injections, perform SQ fluid administration, and help with most routine medical needs your pet may have. If your pet is diabetic, I can apply FreeStyle Libre sensors, obtain spot blood glucose readings (with your equipment), and monitor trends to help keep them stable and comfortable. In addition to medical skills, I also provide everyday care such as nail trims, baths, paw or sanitary trims, and gentle handling for anxious or special-needs pets. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel safe, supported, and completely at ease. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I’m honored to help care for your furry family member in any way they need, whether it’s simple companionship or a little extra medical attention. I can’t wait to meet your pet! Services I offer: Nail grinding or Trimming - $15 Ear cleaning -$15 Anal gland expression - $20 Medication administration - $15 Prevention administration-$10 Fluid Administration- $20 Insulin Administration- $20

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s,I follow the routine that helps them feel safest and most comfortable. I focus on consistency, clear communication, and low-stress handling. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, fresh water, and any meals or medications right on schedule. I always treat every animal like my own and keep their environment clean, calm, and secure.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 10, 2018

We were traveling with our pup Charlie and wanted to take a day to go to Key West. Charlie cannot tolerate too much heat, so we asked Megan to take care of him for the day. Charlie seemed at ease and I felt comfortable. Megan sent us pics and updates which was awesome! I would book her services again!

Doggy Day Care • Jun 15, 2018

Megan picked up a last minute request for some daycare at her home. She even offered to pick up my dog and brought over her pooch for a meet and greet. Her dog Diesel was a great match for my Vizsla and by the end of the day he was pooped (which takes a LOT). She sent plenty of pictures and I never once felt worried even though I’m a helicopter dog dad. Her backyard is great for active dogs, as it is fenced in and even has a pool! I will be using her again in the future. Thanks Megan!

Megan has been a dog lover since she was a little girl. She has worked at a Vet's office and has groomed dogs. She treats dogs with love and affection. I would highly recommend Megan to take care of anyone's dogs. She has done an amazing job with our dog.
