Hello! I grew up with 8+ dogs and my parents being professional k9 handlers it really helped me at a young age how to train and care for dogs. I followed in their footsteps and became a k9 handler in the Air Force. This taught me patience and a lot of beneficial training techniques and also to include, veterinarian care. I’m very responsible, on time, easy-going and do my best to stay in contact and give you updates as much as possible. I fully understand the stress and trust that goes into allowing me to take care of your fur babies. I honorably served in the Air Force as a security forces member and now transitioned to the reserves.

I let out the dogs as much and for as long as they want! I play with them outside if they enjoy playing fetch or with their toys. I’ll take them on walks if that’s what you request and that’s what they usually do while they’re at home.
Ratings and reviews
I do not recommend hiring Megan. Across two bookings, there were serious problems with missed prescription medicine, wrong visit times, and leaving visits early. Missed daily medicine: When I got home after the second booking, I found that Megan failed to give my cat a scheduled dose of her thyroid medicine. The ointment is measured in a syringe applicator, so it was clear that an extra dose was left behind. This also made me question whether she gave my cat her second medicine that gets mixed into her food. Wrong visit times and poor updates: On the second booking, she showed up unannounced in the morning for a visit scheduled for the evening. She did return that night, but communication was poor across the weekend—one visit had no photo, and the final visit had no notes at all. Leaving early and bad time logs: On the first booking, visits were cut significantly short, but she left the app timer running for over an hour before closing them out. Missing a photo or a note can happen, but failing to give daily prescription medicine is a serious pet safety issue. If your pet needs reliable care or daily medicine, I suggest finding a different sitter.

I rebooked Megan knowing she did a great job the previous visit. Her visit this time started off the same then seemed to taper off as she didn’t stay the night the last two nights, leaving our pets for longer than we had specified each time. While I was out of town, I wasn’t monitoring my exterior safety cameras regularly but noticed our final morning before our flight, there had been no activity - it took her several hours to respond to my inquiry about where she was and I had to ask a neighbor to come by as it had been 12 hours since she had been there. I brought my concerns to her and she apologized yet I won’t be rebooking in the future as her priority was not in my pets during our entire stay unfortunately.
Megan was great. She met all of my pets and they all really liked her. She kept me updated and all of them were happy she was here for them. I definitely recommend her and will use her again.
Megan took extremely exceptional care of our 2 Great Pyrenees and our cat Shelly! She was on time, fed them per our instructions and took the dogs on wonderful walks! Plus she took photos each time she was there. Megan even got a photo of Shelly cat which is amazing! Shelly never comes out to see anyone except us. That means Shelly completely trusted Megan! We will definitely have Megan take care of our fur babies on the next trip we go on!

Schedule
I could check on your pets in the afternoon and as many times as you need a day. I’m a full-time student and in the reserves for the Air Force.

- I was taught vet safety and that covers an abundance amount of information about training dogs and what to do in emergency situations. From giving them their daily medication to cutting their nails or even a bath! *****For housesitting-if pet continuously bark throughout the night I will have to go home to get proper rest.
